The space Suite 203 "TheCOLLEGIATE" - Located in 'The505 Eugene', a NEW 8 suite Hotel/BnB on 5th & Willamette St, on the upper floor of an iconic 1910 brick building that was thoughtfully renovated & re-imagined. The interiors reflect the uniqueness of Eugene & the downtown Market District neighborhood in an artistic focused, creative style. -> Location! - 400feet from the Hult Center! - 1 Mile to University of Oregon Campus - 1.3 miles (4min drive) 27min walk to Autzen Stadium - UofO Ducks football - 1.7 Miles to Mat Knight Arena for UofO Basketball, concerts, volleyball, etc. - 2.2 Miles to Hayward Field -> We want you to "Choose Your Own Adventure" & you've chosen well. Each is a uniquely crafted short term residential space to spark your imagination or offer a space to recharge. -> The building is 100% secure and has a private resident access that leads up the interior stairs to the 8 apartment suites. The unit has original historic windows that were restored by hand, but everything else is brand new. Including ductless AC/Heat units, ERV air quality enhancers, and LED lighting. -> Fully stocked kitchen w/everything down to the spices required for cooking a meal. New Fridge, oven/range, microwave and dishwasher. There is also a Keurig w/an assortment of K-Cup flavors, a French Press & an electric water kettle. A blender and toaster are also provided. -> The living space feature wall is a nod to the iconic MacArthur Court basketball court in Eugene along w/the artwork & basketballs nearby. The Article brand leather sofa is flooded with natural light...or close the blackout blinds & enjoy a game or movie on the 86" TV! A massive HD, Smart TV w/access to all your favorite streaming services. ->The bedroom closes off with a large brightly painted barn door & features a comfy Helix brand mattress and Brooklinen Luxury Linens on the bed. New bathroom w/designer tiled shower, soaking tub, Public Goods soaps, shampoo and conditioner and Brooklinen brand plush towels. A hair dryer and makeup wipes are also provided. -> This brand new suite is located in the proximity of a number of Eugene's top restaurants and attractions such as the 5th Street Market, Marche, Carlita's, Nike, the River Trails, Top Golf arcade and is just a short trip by bike, foot or car to the University of Oregon, Oakway and steps from downtown. Located in the heart of downtown Eugene's "5th St Market District" where you will have no problems finding our local, top rated restaurants just minutes (or even steps) away! Go see a performance at the Hult Center a block away, or a concert at Matthew Knight Arena, or the Mcdonald Theater. Catch a football game at Autzen Stadium, float the river, or shopping and dining at Oakway Center...all within a 2 mile radius of this space. Feel like exploring outside of downtown? Great! You'll find it's an easy drive or Uber/Lyft nearly anywhere you need to get in the Eugene/Springfield area with our central location. Your suite is equipped with an 86" HD Smart TV w/built in streaming device which allows guests to access their own streaming accounts such as Netflix, Hulu, Amazon, Disney+, etc. Your suite does not have cable service but the streaming device does provide 100+ free TV Channels to enjoy. While everything inside and out, underwent a 2+ year renovation, there are of course original elements from the character of the 1910 building. Such as some of the original floor framing and of course many of the brick and structural walls. We love the character this gives the building, and want you to know that some of the floors are not perfectly even, and there is a potential for a squeak here and there and the windows were completely restored (down to the internal weights) and operable, but will still not slide as smooth as today's modern windows. ***Got Friends? Guest access The entire suite is yours. There are no common areas that are shared outside of the main entry hallway corridor. Your apartment suite door is accessed off the private secured common hallway just like a hotel would. Other things to note PARKING: We have free dedicated parking across the street & first come first serve 'overnight only' parking behind our building. Paid parking nearby also. The windows were completely restored (per local historic guidelines) and operable, but will still not slide as smooth as today's modern windows. If opening them, we recommend for safety to unlock and then slide the upper portion of the window down (Yes, one goes down and the other slides up). This way the opening is higher off the ground and keeps everyone safe.
