This home is an oasis for relaxation, offering comfortable spaces to unwind and take in the scenery. I welcome respectful guests who will care for the property as their own. This home is ideal for relaxing getaways. While parties are not permitted, respectful groups or small gatherings are welcome. The space House was built on an abandoned street, thus it's namesake, The Herriott. The fully furnished kitchen is well stocked with all the basics as well as a blender and waffle maker. Also included are single-serve cooking oil, spices, and condiments (ketchup, mustard, mayonnaise, hot sauce & soy sauce). Coffee maker and tea kettle are provided as well as coffee and tea. The house is divided into two separate units and there are no shared spaces or doors. Guests enjoy the first two floors and will enjoy exclusive use of the front outdoor entertaining space. Your host (Joel) lives on the third floor with parking and entrance in the back of the property. Bunkbeds are the same type commonly used for fire department bunk rooms and can support up to 1000 pounds. Guest access Guests are renting the lower two floors of the home and will have full access to the front driveway, patio, deck, and all designated guest areas. The third floor and garage are not included in the rental and are not accessible to guests. The driveway can accommodate up to four vehicles. Guests also have access to the garbage and recycling area, conveniently located just outside the Airbnb's back door. Other things to note Please note that Waterview Street runs parallel to a train line. The home was specifically designed with noise reduction in mind and features 8-inch concrete walls and sound-reducing glass throughout. For additional comfort, white noise machines are provided in each bedroom. Most guests find the home to be quiet and relaxing; however, if you are an especially light sleeper or highly sensitive to train noise, accommodations along Ruston Way may not be the best fit for you.
