This waterfront studio apartment occupies the entire top floor (three floors above the ground floor) in an historic stone home on Kotor Bay in the charming village of Muo. Swimming/sunning is available out in front of the apartment, and Old Town Kotor (the part inside the Medieval walls) is about a 25-minute walk. All the apartments in the building have been recently remodeled and have many modern features -- air conditioning, at-grade tiled showers -- but retains a lot of the historic charm. Muo is in a great location because it has great views of the mountains as well as Kotor old town across the bay. It's walking distance around the bottom of the bay to the old town walls, but far enough away from all the clubs, hostels, and noise in the old town. OK, at night you can hear the club music coming across the bay, but the sound of the fan on the air conditioning unit can drown that out. Walking is easy. Parking is available, but tight, so please write me if you plan to drive a car. Public transit is semi-regular and very affordable. I do have some bikes available to rent for guests.
