This place is like no other! Villa KYMA (sea wave) is located in Southern Crete, directly upon a remote, secluded beach, where the sea is almost always calm, due to the gulf's orientation and the little islet, opposite, which forms a natural barrier onto the open sea. Some of Crete's most famous destinations, each handpicked for their bright sun, scenery diversity and crystal clear sea, are nearby, reachable both by land and water. Agiofaraggo beach and canyon, Martsalos beach, Matala, Vathi beach, Kali Limenes, The Shipwreck, Psili Ammos beach, are some of the area's highlights, to name a few. The first thing that strikes you, when you arrive here, are the huge patio doors, which dominate the villa's southern walls. The morning sun shines through glass, making everything very bright, while revealing the house's very high aesthetic, its clean, crisp lines and the ingenious combination of wood, marble, metal and glass. Ample interior spaces, balconies and terraces will give you lots of space and options to relax and enjoy, while fantastic nature, wild land and peaceful sea surrounds you. The villa is built in two levels, with the lounge area and kitchen in the ground floor and the bedrooms at the upper floor. The whole house is ergonomically designed and built, to provide panoramic views over the sea and the surrounding hills, and it is ideally insulated against heat and cold. Here's a brief description of the villa's spaces: At the ground floor The living room is equipped with: - 55' Smart TV - large sofa set (which turns into a queen bed) and a coffee table - a reading corner with a comfy armchair and a coffee table - a/c unit The bath has - toilet - vanity unit - shower/spa combo Next to the lounge there is a fully equipped and stocked kitchen with everything you need for cooking: - oven, stove, fridge, kettle, coffee machine, toaster, blender/mixer - dishwasher - plenty of pots / pans /platters - Serving utensils - Coffee machine - large dinning table for 8 people - faucet filtering system and cooler for drinkable water ..and also - Washing machine - water purifier/dryer and - wine cooler At the upper floor are the villa's two bedrooms. The bedrooms are equipped with: - comfortable queen beds w/ anatomic mattress - night tables - a/c units - wardrobes - hair dryer - TVs - dark drapes Both bedrooms have access to balconies and terraces, all with sea views. Outdoor areas include: - a huge BBQ- Grill area - pergola with a huge, hand crafted dinning table and 10 armchairs - pool shower - lawn area with potted plants - private parking area - outdoor furniture (sunbeds, sun deck chairs, parasol) On the beach, you'll find your own private sunbeds and parasols. IMPORTANT: The last 100m, before reaching the property, is a gravel road with a small slope. You should seriously consider renting an SUV to drive here, unless, of course you're an experienced driver for gravel roads. Guest access The whole house is set up to welcome you, our guest. Feel free to explore it and use its facilities as you would in your own place. The whole house, it's beautiful terraces are there for your own private use. All beaches in Greece are public by Law. However, this particular beach, called ''Stena (narrow) beach'' is literally off the grid and there are rarely any people here.
