Description
The apartment is located in a Saxon house, in the heart of BISTRITA, near the Evangelical Church, where the pedestrian center begins with the multitude of terraces and restaurants. We are 7 min from Lidl(via Central Park) and 15 min from the train station(on foot). It is freshly rehabilitated and offers all the necessary comfort with an indoor yard with free parking. It can be a destination for those eager to get to know the city, but it can also be a stopover for hiking on Via Transilvanica. The space The interior space of the apartment preserves the atmosphere of the 15th century, being shaped by the walls (90 cm thick) of stone and brick, in sight. The reconditioning of the rooms was done using the construction elements of those times : wood for doors, windows , interior furniture and design elements; stone and brick for the delimitation of spaces; metal for the lighting system and interior and exterior furniture. The footprint of the present is the underfloor heating system and the rustic-looking appliances. Because in the year 1457 it burned down the old Council House( City Hall) along with the entire archive, the Saxon house no 42 of which the apartment is part, it has only been in the records since 1882. The outdoor space consists of a common entrance "under the gate", a common courtyard and garden beautifully outlined by stone and brick walls, 4 meters high. Because the apartment is on the ground floor, tourists benefit from a small terrace, overlooking the yard and the garden, but also the parking. Guest access Since the apartment is located in a Saxon house, in the form of the letter "U", and the yard is fortified by stone walls, the access is made only on the gate provided with an intercom.
