Delightful Riverside Shepherds Hut Full kitchen!

Get away from it all when you stay in our bespoke luxury Shepherds Hut, hand made by a local master craftsman, Matt Cotterill, perfect for breaks all year round. The Space Completed in January 2021 the Shepherds Hut is situated in the grounds of our 16th century Mill House in Somerset and is alongside the River Yarty with far reaching views across open fields and woods. Guest Access Parking is a very short walk away from the Hut. There is a private deck and patio area for you to enjoy. The space The hut is equipped to an excellent standard, in particular a full functoning kitchen with all kitchenware, cutlery, crockery and glasses. The hut is insulated to a very high standard and has both underfloor heating , bedroom radiator and a super warm stove. The wet room showers are pressurised and run from an LPG heater outside to ensure a properly hot and satisfying shower after a long days walking or simply a stroll to the pub! Bedlinen is White Company and towels are Egyptian cotton. The Hut has wifi and a Smart tv A full sized double bed A mini kitchen with hob & fridge A shower & toilet A lounge area with a wood burner (uses lpg) Guest access Parking is a very short walk away from the hut. Guest also have sole access to an adjacent patio, deck with a table and chairs. Other things to note The Shepherds Hut is next to the main accommodation which is a 250 yr old thatched cottage with features dating back over 400 years. We are the new owners and are spending a lot of time to highlight the beautiful grounds for us and guest to enjoy. The previous owners had the Airbnb for 18 months and Tracy the co-host was looking after the property so don’t worry that we are new here! We have recently overhauled the old herb garden in-front of the hut - the last two years have been challenging growing conditions so we have to replenish yearly. Maybe you will use some rosemary or thyme to fragrance your home cooked food? Or use some mint to make a delicious cocktail to sip as you look out for the kingfishers that speed up and down the river! Pls note - we are in the process of adding trellis to the beautiful raised beds to give you some more privacy and will be planting a rose garden in the raised beds.
