Cozy Cabin in the Woods Near Berea

Relax in this tranquil mountain get away surrounded by nature. It is secluded in the woods yet close to many amenities. It’s 15 mins from the I75 exit in Berea KY and less than an hour south of Lexington KY. Places of interest like the Berea College Campus, Owsley Fork Lake, the Indian Fort “ Pinnacles” Hiking Trails and Anglin Falls are 10 minutes away. It’s a 30 minute drive to Renfro Valley and 75 minutes to the countless trails in Red River Gorge and Cumberland Falls State Resort Park. The space It’s a cabin nestled in 9 acres of woods. You can enjoy your morning coffee with the sound of nature in the porch and have dinner watching the stars in the sky. Or just relax and read a book, plenty are provided, in a hammock. Inside, the vibe is cozy with comfortable conveniences. In the living and dining area is a 42 in Smart TV where you can access your own streaming services. The internet is high speed 500Mb. The kitchen has modern appliances fully stocked with dishes, cook ware, utensils, standard coffee pot, keurig, coffee and tea. There are 2 bedrooms each with queen size beds (two persons per bedroom) and a bathroom. We provide toilet paper, body wash and shampoo, paper towels and water. There is a stack washer and dryer for guest use. Outside is a fire pit that can be used as a grill for cooking. Entrance to the property is through a green secure gate followed by a gravel drive to the parking spot next to the cabin. There are rock steps without handrails leading to the doorway. Someone with balance difficulty might need assistance to navigate the steps leading to the front door. Guest access The green entrance gate to the property requires a pass code. The cabin door access is through keyless entry. Both codes are provided the day before arrival. Other things to note Bring a bug spray for mosquitos while outdoors. It’s in the woods so an encounter with a wild animal/s is possible. There are rock steps without hand rails from the parking spot to the front door that can be challenging for people with balance difficulties. Friendly neighborhood dogs may visit the property. We also have a ring doorbell installed for your safety and ours. It monitors the stone pathways leading to the cabins front door. This is the only video camera on the property.
