Our little studio is for the adventurers, the people who like something a little different and unique. Set up for comfort and ease, it's a space to hang out and drink tea or coffee while looking up your travel plans. A simple but charming spot to rest your head after exploring the local redwoods and rivers. The composting toilet is rustic and funky and outdoor shower is refreshing! We have a fire pit you can use and a deep love and knowledge of the area. The space This small space is attached to our sunroom off the home that we live in. Our scene is rustic and funky, and we keep it clean. The yard is full of flowers during spring, summer and fall so it's extra pretty for most of the year. Even though we're in a neighborhood it's unique because we are backed up to an orchard and organic CSA farm so it feels rural but there is a grocery store nearby and we are close enough to town to bike to. You're welcome to use the shared space of the yard where there is a fire pit and a small deck in a sunny corner. We have a dog that will be in the yard off and on so you gotta like pets. Guest access You will have access to all outdoor areas, driveway and side fence entrance way and all outdoor bathroom and shower accommodations. During your stay We are friendly and like socializing but totally respectful of your space and will leave you to it once we get you familiar with the layout and show you how things work. If you need to borrow something or have questions about the area we don't mind if you text to ask for it or give a knock on the back sliding door. Other things to note We have a friendly old dog that will be in and out of the yard throughout the day but we will keep in with us at night. She will bark and run around the yard when you get here, but she doesn’t jump on people and is well behaved. She will most likely hang around your door while you are here but she is gentle and not overbearing. The gate you enter and leave through must be closed at all times so she doesn’t get out!
