Situated in the heart of Richelieu in the Loire Valley, our tastefully decorated home will seduce you with its luxurious interiors, fully equipped stylish kitchen, large dining room, home cinema, Italian shower & a fully private walled romantic garden shared with 1-2 occupants of our studio occasionally. Restaurants, bars, supermarket, bakery, swimming pool, tennis court etc. at walking distance. Region is well known for castles, vineyards & cycling routes; 3 hours drive from Paris on the A10. The space While you are right in the heart of Richelieu - once you close the outside door you’re hidden away from the world where you hear nothing but the birds chirping in the age old trees, especially in the fully walled garden. This listing includes an apartment on the first floor which is about a 100sqmts and includes a sitting room, dining room, 2 large bedrooms (one with a double bed and one with two single beds), fully equipped tastefully designed modern kitchen, a dressing area with large cupboards, charming bright bathroom with travertine tiles and a large walk in Italian shower and a separate toilet. The sitting room and dining room walls have hand-painted wood panels and each room is decorated with an eye for detail and great taste with pieces of antique furniture and chandeliers which were carefully restored by us. Modern multimedia features are fully integrated into the living room to give you the best home cinema feeling. The kitchen has every gadget you can imagine and we have carefully selected the crockery to make your dinners and breakfast that extra bit special. We have put at your disposal, oils and vinegars, a selection of spices and teas. You have access to a walled private romantic garden which is 300sqm2, filled with flowering plants, climbing roses & jasmines, boxed vegetable patches, a BBQ and plenty of garden furniture arranged in a way to create romantic corners and if the ground floor apartment is not rented out, you will have full privacy here. As we have a two persons apartment of 30sqmts ( one double bed) on the ground floor with a fully equipped kitchen and a grand bathroom, if you wish to combine this, you can have the accommodation to fit six persons. We are extra particular about keeping our apartment sparkling clean and take special care of every little detail to make your stay with us memorable. Other little details: Once you are here you will know why Richelieu is called the Ideal city, everything is at walking distance of 50 - 150mts. The town has several cafes, bars and small restaurants. The Friday morning fresh produce Market attracts a lot of visitors from around the region, here you get the best vegetables & fruits, local goat cheese, beers and wines and is the best time to mingle with the friendly locals. The beautiful park of Richelieu is just a five minutes walk from here, ideal for walks, jogging or cycling. A public swimming pool & tennis court is 200mts away. There are two bakeries, two pharmacies, a super market, several antique shops, banks and even a Cinema within the walls of Richelieu. A visit to Château de Chinon or Château du Rivau is within a 20 min drive.
