Beautiful barn retreat with options for ~ spa treatments/massages ~ private chef Ideal for couples, families or friends in the grounds of historic Oulton Smithy. Close to Oulton Park race circuit in the pretty Cheshire countryside. The barn is set back from the Smithy with its own entrance and a stunning private hot tub. Lots to do while you’re here…massages, aromatherapy, pilates, gin making workshops, private dining all available in the barn (additional cost) Luxury touches throughout The space The barn is single storey, light and airy and designed to retain it’s rustic character and charm. Concrete floors with underfloor heating throughout, wooden barn doors provide options to divide the open plan living area and main bedroom. The kitchen features quartz worktops, neff slide + hide oven, double butler sink, feature island for four to eat & relax. The feature log burner in the lounge area will be stocked with logs & everything you need to cosy up during your stay. Two bathrooms which have been designed with luxurious touches, white bath robes & and eco refillable toiletries. The main kingsize bedroom has a stunning freestanding bath tub and French doors onto the courtyard. The second superking bedroom has it’s own dressing area and separate courtyard and the bed can be set up as a twin on request. Outside you’ll find seating areas to enjoy the south facing suntrap with lavender & rose planters. The hot tub comfortably accommodates 4 people to soak under the sunshine or stars and relax. The Tubmarine eco hot tub is British designed & made with stainless steel and fresh water for each use this means it is chemical-free & skin friendly. Tub is set up, heated & ready for your arrival, you can add logs as required (logs provided). There’s also a paddock (small field) open for use, a great area for kids to play or if you wanted to sit for a picnic or relax in the sunshine. The gardens are also available for booking in yoga or pilates outside (weather permitting). Guest access Guests arrive and access via the shared drive and park next to the Barn, there is ample parking for multiple vehicles & trailers etc. There is an open paddock off the drive which you can explore and there are two private outside areas exclusively for Barn guests, accessed from French doors in the Barn, both catching the sun (south and west facing). Other things to note We are ideally located 150m from pituresque Oulton Park race circuit. There are many exciting events on throughout the year, of course the nature of car & motobike racing is that it can be more noisy during 9am - 5pm on race event days. The Barn is located in rural Cheshire, between pretty villages of Little Budworth & Tarporley, we have great woodland walks nearby and four country pubs within walking distance. We are located next to a working dairy farm, and as with any country getaway the sounds & smells of the countryside are all around! Private Dining at The Barn To make your stay extra special a local private chef will come and cook you a sumptuous dinner to remember.
