Villa Bohemia is an adults only, relaxing getaway located in a quaint fishing village between Chelem and Chuburna, off the Entrada Arrecifes (Reef). Beautiful and stylish open loft space overlooking the pool and the ocean with your own kitchen and ocean front patio. Chelem is a small fishing village with very friendly locals and expats around. You will find most everything you need in town. Chelem is located 45 minutes from Merida International Airport and a 15 minute drive to the port town of Progreso. It is recommended that you have a car, but taxis, Uber, Collectivos and Tuk Tuks are available. We are just far enough out of Chelem Centro, that it is a little bit more difficult. Getting here from the airport or Merida or Progreso is easy, but sometimes trying to get an Uber is hit or miss from here. I have a list of numbers from local drivers that live in the area that can get you around. I usually schedule with them if I need to go to Progreso or the airport, etc. I also have numbers of local tuk-tuk drivers for going around town locally. a lot of guests without a car will walk into town and take a tuk tuk back. It's a five minute walk to the main road, where you can catch tuk-tuks and colectivos. It is a good 25+ minute walk to town and usually nice and hot. We have an Oxxo and Willie's, a meat market and some great little fruit and vegetable stands around. There are a lot of little restaurants around town. Most of them deliver and mostly only accept cash. Check-in time is after 3pm and departure is 11:30am No additional guests
