Take it easy at this unique getaway. Just 7 minutes from the town square, and 15 minutes from Ladonia Fossil Park and the head of the upcoming Lake Ralph Hall project. The space Your stay is on the second story where you will see stunning views of open land overlooking the farm and herds of cattle. The main sleeping area is in the loft accessible by a tiny home style stairway; there you will find a queen size bed - if you do not want to climb the stairs, there is also a couch on the main level. There is a full bathroom with two sinks, a toilet and shower (no tub). The bathroom is joined to the second unit which is currently being renovated and, therefore, will remain locked during your stay and you will have exclusive use of the bathroom. There is a microwave and mini-fridge but, no kitchen. The farm store is below your unit - you may see/hear the presence of others in the farm store below; however, you will have exclusive, private use of the upper 2nd story during your stay. Outside the space, the main scenery is cattle - there is minimal awareness of other people and very few neighboring houses. Relax on the deck where you will see stunning sunsets. In cooler months (when there are less bugs) feel free to spend the night on the 20', 2nd story deck, under the stars . Even though the property is very remote, the city center (also home of East Texas A&M) is a short car ride away (7-9 minutes). Guest access You will have access to the parking area, the barndominium and the attached 20' x 20' 2nd story deck plus the fully fenced backyard. Other things to note This stay is on a working farm.
