Tees House on the banks of this beautiful river in Croft-on-Tees is perfectly situated for weddings country walks and sight seeing. Stunning river views with gardens directly on bank of the River Tees. A very relaxing place to be, with large ground floor areas with seating and dining for 10 guests; Wifi. Great location for eating out being very close to The Rockliffe Hotel and Golf Course (5 Star). Enviable independent pubs and eateries close by as well. The space A one off build by a local engineer this is a lovely property; a bit 80s querky. Open plan downstairs with separate kitchen area. The kitchen has all modern Bosch appliances. Lovely tiled floor. Furniture from various eras including vintage French and Italian. Mainly tiled floors on ground floor. Sleeps up to 10: Master with king size 4 poster bed; further king size room; two smaller double rooms and and a twin. Two bathrooms one on either level, both with steel baths, showers over bath and hand shower from taps. There is a second separate lounge/sun room used for relaxation and a small office area. Most rooms have lovely views of the gardens and river adjoining. Guest access The whole house and gardens are private to you and your party. If there is anything specific you wish to do or know please just ask as I have an extensive knowledge of the local area. Ample free parking outside the property. The house is at the end of the private road. You can walk into the village and over the Bridge to Hurworth where you will find the Comet public house. Or go a little further to Rockcliffe Court Hotel and Golf Course with a Spa (5 Star). Also south to Dalton Village and the Chequers Inn which has a lovely food menu too. Darlington or Northallerton train stations are very nearby (and Teesside International Airport (6 miles). Its 30 min by train to York or Newcastle. 20 min to Durham. Edinburgh 2 hours. Richmond and Northallerton market towns are about 10 miles away in different directions and Darlington 4 miles. Leyburn (Yorkshire Dales 35min). This part of North Yorkshire is the narrowest part of England and so access to the Lakes (Ullswater about 80min) and Yorkshire coast (Saltburn 40 min; Whitby 68 min) is easy. Other things to note **Early check-in late check-out if desired and possible.** Situated on the banks of the River Tees with no fence to give a lovely open view, families with children: youngsters would have to be strictly supervised at all times. You can sit back and chill with a glass of something and let the world go by while you listen to and watch the birds. You should see fish rising in the summer. The garden is the former orchard of Croft Hall.
