Step back into history. ‘Welcome Stranger Cottage’ in Maryborough was built in 1890 and is set on a quiet street just minutes from the heart of Maryborough. This quaint three-bedroom miner’s cottage offers you all the comforts of home and is suitable for couples, families and social groups. With a fully-equipped kitchen, fenced backyard and off-street parking, it offers the ideal base to explore the history and cuisine of Victoria's goldfields. The space The cosy cottage, where strangers are welcome, can comfortably sleep six; two bedrooms have queen beds, the third two king-singles. A double sofa-bed is situated in a common area should it be required. Guests have access to the whole house and garden. The cottage has ducted cooling for hot weather and a gas fire to keep it snug in winter. While it oozes yesteryear all modern conveniences are provided.
