The Tree Trust Farm is a beautiful 200 hectare self-sufficient working farm, close to the town of Heidelberg, and only 45 minutes drive from Johannesburg. Expect to be surrounded by exquisite hills, hiking trails, an array of farm animals, and magnificent sunsets! Willow Cottage sleeps three people, nestled in the heart of the farm. It is situated next to the leafy pool area, with access to various outdoor seating spaces, braai facilities and our Saloon. The wider farm is yours to explore. The space This lovely open plan cottage has a kitchen, lounge area and dining table and a small stoep in front of the cottage. The cottage sleeps three people. There is a separate bedroom with a lovely comfortable queen size bed, good linen and warm blankets. And there is a comfortable sleeper couch in the lounge. There is a bathroom with a shower - hot water nearly always guaranteed as we have solar geysers! The kitchenette is fully equipped with a fridge/freezer, small oven and two plate stove, air-fryer, coffee maker and all the necessary crockery, pots and pans. There is a portable Cadac gas cooker for loadshedding and a battery-powered rechargeable light in the unit, which also charges cellphones. In close proximity is a large swimming pool, games room, braai areas and lots of outdoor seating spaces. Feel free to explore the farm on foot or on horseback (by pre-arrangement), climb a hill and enjoy the sunset or swim in the dam in summer! We also host a 5km Park Run each Saturday - feel free to join at a walk or a run! You can also walk the route any other day of the week. There is secure parking for your car. There is laundry access if needed. This is the perfect getaway retreat for solo travellers, families and groups of friends. The wider farm property is yours to explore! Other things to note 1. BRINGING A DOG OR OTHER PET There are multiple free-range animals on the farm including chickens, rabbits, pigs, cows and horses. While we are pet friendly, your pet will please be expected to be on a lead when in the public areas and exploring the farm. The space is best suited to well socialised animals. 2.
