Ideal for family reunions, wellness weekends, and corporate offsites. The space Sterling Forest Lodge is a boutique lodge and wellness retreat. Occasionally we offer our rooms on Airbnb when we do not have retreats. All our rooms are very well designed with brand new amenities and high-end appliances. Our mattresses and linens are all organic and sustainably made by Avocado Green Mattresses and VERY comfortable. The Grand suite also has a copper tub in the room with amazing views of the green mountains. This room can be combined with our Bunk Room (Walnut) should you want to rent more than one room for your stay with us. Please inquire about that option. Guest access Guests have access to the entire lodge , all bedrooms and common spaces and grounds. There is a small back-of-house area with an office and utility storage that the owners may occasionally need access to with permission from guests. During your stay Owner or property manager will meet with guests at check in to give a tour of the lodge ins and outs. Self check out. Other things to note Sterling Forest Lodge is located 12 minutes away from the center of town in Stowe. Access to the lodge is up a dirt road, that during winter months can be snowy. We highly recommend cars with all wheel drive, 4x4 drive or snow tires. However, we have yet to have issues with guests arriving or departing. While the lodge is located in the woods and away from it all, we still have neighbors and loud and disrupted behavior is not permitted. We do not allow bachelor/bachelorette parties, guests seeking to use this space for partying or excessive drinking, or any other kind of behavior that does not respect the sanctity of the lodge.
