51 Sunset Captiva 2 Bedrooms / 2.5 Bathrooms
Sunset Captiva #51 is a bright two-bedroom home with a loft (including a day bed) and a new sleep sofa in the living room (sleeps 6 maximum). Each bedroom has a queen bed and the guest bedroom also has a twin bed loft to provide guests with flexibility in sleeping options. A warm Floridian interior welcomes visitors to island life on Captiva in Sunset Captive #51. Located just a short walk to the Sunset Captiva beachfront access and Bayside docks, guests can have it all during their stay in this single-family home–with shared but quiet beach access as well as a dock for guests with a boat (reconstruction of a new dock planned for Fall 2023!). Looking for something to do? Restaurants and shops are just a short stroll from your front door to the Captiva Village. Restaurants offer various cuisines–and some offer live nightly entertainment–all are very close to Sunset Captiva. A variety of activities, including parasailing, fishing, sea kayaking, day cruising, shopping, shelling, and walking on endless sandy beaches all can be arranged right on Captiva. While you’re just more than 60 minutes from the Fort Myers (RSW) airport, you’ll feel like you’re far from civilization in this remote beach village. Take just a short drive to Sanibel Island and find Ding Darling National Wildlife Refuge, golf, local churches, a grocery store, and other restaurants and shops. So whether you want to be busy exploring all that these islands have to offer, or you just want to get lost in a book away from it all, Sunset Captiva #51 is the place for you! A large sun deck with bay views spans the upper level. Below it is a shaded screened lanai with teak furniture, including a dining table for outdoor dining night or day. The Sunset Captiva community has all new landscaping and will have a new dock, swimming pool and tennis & pickleball courts planned for reconstruction following hurricane Ian. Sunset Captive #51 has outdoor spaces with both warm sunshine and a shady lower-level for a quiet, cool and private place to relax. An outdoor shower allows for a quick rinse when returning from the beach.
