Welcome to this newly remodeled loft space that is located in the heart of Mal Pais and only a few minutes drive away from the hustle and bustle of Santa Teresa, where all kinds of restaurants, shops and beautiful beaches can be found, along with the best surf breaks in the area. Mal Pais is a tranquil little fishing village with the most beautiful secluded beaches, nestled in the jungle where spotting birds and monkeys are nothing rare. The space This beautiful one bedroom loft features a king sized bed on the upper level, a high quality matress and luxury linen. You will be overlooking the jungle laying in bed with access to a specious balcony and the opportunity to have your morning coffee listening to the ocean from a distance or observing a family of monkeys. There is a bathroom on the ground level, fully equipped kitchen, living room with a sleeping couch (twin bed) and beautiful views of the greenery outside. There is a Surfrack on the outside patio, perfect for you to store your surfboards and a outdoor shower to rinse off after a day at the beach. The house has air conditioning, a fan over the bed, a water filter, fiber optic Wi-Fi and private parking. Recommending 4x4 from May-November (the more rainy months) to enter property. Otherwise 4x4 not needed but recommended. Guest access Guests have access to the entire house, it’s garden and parking space. Other things to note Please note that we are in the jungle and there are all kind of animals living around us. We do try to keep them away from the house in the most sustainable way but it can occasionally happen that you will get a visitor. Please, if that happens, don’t hesitate to contact us and we will help you get the animal back to where it came from. Even though Mal Pais and surrounding areas have grown a lot over the past few years, power outages and no water are not a uncommon thing, especially in the more rainy months between May and November. We have a water tank in case there is no water but it doesn’t occasionally happen that we rub low and you have to be mindful with using water. This is a tranquil and relaxed space. We ask you to respect the neighbors and animals living around us. Therefore parties or loud music are not welcome. Smoking inside the house is also strictly forbidden.
