The House of the " Pomar " In ruins since the 1980 Earthquake, the house was rebuilt according to the traditional methods of the region: exterior walls covered with basalt like the old barns intended to be used as a shelter for shepherds. Transformed into a house with 2 bedrooms, a furnished attic, a rest area suspended on the living room and a private outdoor area with sea and valley views. The space Caparica Azores Ecolodge is the project of three friends (Guillaume, Hugo and Mario) conceived in its operation as a generous place and open to meetings and exchanges of ideas. Caparica is our anchor, our window on the island and its traditions, on the sea and its strength, on Nature. Here we will receive as we would like to be received. Together, we have defined a strategy that respects the environment and preserves the quality of living for everyone. We will always be responsible for the natural and cultural environment of the area. We want to participate in an exemplary way in local sustainability and that our site is a remarkable space.
