Chez Sahara is nestled at the peaceful end of Santa Fe’s renowned, gallery filled Canyon Road. This beautiful newly renovated two bedroom, two bath adobe home is within walking distance of many of the city’s best attractions. Just steps from world renowed Galleries, museums and resturants. The space Chez Sahara a beautifully restored historic adobe home that is bathed in natural New Mexico light all day long. The natural light keeps this historic home bright and welcoming while the high coyote fence in the outdoor garden provides plenty of privacy. This lovely adobe home has plenty of room to relax in the living room. The primary king bedroom is located on the first floor along with the kitchen, dining room, living room and bathroom . The spacious second king bedroom is accessed by the original wooden spiral stairs located in the living room or by its own private entrance at the back of the home. Whether you are enjoying the farolitos at Christmas or the short walk to Plaza you will be in the heart of the Historic Eastside. There is a great sense of community on Canyon Road with the nearby adobe neighbors. Please be respectful and mindful of noise during day and evening celebrations. The Santa Fe short-term rental ordinance does not allow noise or other disturbance outside after 10:00 p.m. We kindly ask that both fireplaces not be used to build fires at this time. Guest access Guests will be notified the day before your arrival with the address and entry instructions. Other things to note Santa Fe is a magical vacation destination for lovers of the outdoors (hiking, off-road bicycling and skiing), culture and restaurants. Enjoy Santa Fe's many wonderful casual restaurants, cafes and coffee houses: Cafe Pasqual's, Tune-Up Cafe, La Boca, The Tea House, The Compound, Paper Dosa, Paloma Restaurant, Clafouti, Geronimo and Sage Bakehouse to name a few. The Cowgirl has an outdoor patio and live music. Favorite New Mexican resturants include La Choza, The Shed, The Pantry and Tia Sophias. Explore Santa Fe art, culture and neighborhoods: visit historic Santa Fe Plaza, with shops and the Georgia O'Keefe Museum; arrange a visit to Georgia O'Keefe's home in Abiquiu; visit the Railyard (Farmer's Market on Saturdays, art museums). Many local hikes including Sun Mountain trail and the Dale Ball Trails in the foothills of the Sangre de Cristo Mountains. Two lovely spas to complete your Santa Fe experience: Ojo Caliente Mineral Springs (complete spa services and soak in natural hot springs with no less than eleven pools), and Ten Thousand Waves (Japanese mountain style spa with dining at Izanami Restaurant).
