Sentry Mead

Our newly refurbished luxury 9-bedroom hotel, in Totland, is now available to hire during autumn and winter in its entirety for families, friends or groups wanting to relax in the height of comfort and luxury. Nestled in the jewel of the Isle of Wight, we want Sentry Mead to be your country home by the sea for the weekend. The space We have 5 master suites with super king-size beds that can be twinned into single beds. The other 4 bedrooms are equipped with king-size beds and all the rooms have en-suite bathrooms with power showers. Every bedrooms is equipped with the latest Smart TVs and are all equipped with Netflix, Amazon prime and other streaming services. Tea and coffee making facilities are available in all rooms and all rooms have access to a fridge. The facilities available on the ground floor include a fully stocked, licensed bar, a large family lounge with large screen smart TV, Amazon Echo and lots of board games in case it rains. There is also a fantastic conservatory area, looking out across Sentry Mead lawns and gardens with views out to the Solent. Be prepared for some world class sunsets!! The Dining Room has seating for 18+ people and dining can be configured to suit your entire group. The floorplan of Sentry Mead means you can all stay together or break off into smaller groups. So the youngsters can have their own space, whilst being close enough to be in touch. Sentry Mead has a well-equipped professional kitchen with an abundance of fridge and freezer space. There is also an industrial dishwasher (so no arguing over who’s doing the dishes!) There is also a fully equipped laundry to the ground floor with use of large washing machines, tumble driers and ironing facilities. We have a lovely patio area overlooking the lawns and mature gardens with views out to sea. We have a large carpark so you have off road parking for at least 9 cars, ideal for large groups, we can also charge up to 4 electric cars at once. We are located in Totland, West Wight, a picturesque resort with a sea wall extending over one mile. Attractive sand and shingle beach that is particularly safe for children. This is the most westerly village on the island, it is in close proximity to pretty Alum Bay and the colourful Needles. The resort offers good fishing and lovely seafront walks. Fishing trips can be taken from nearby Yarmouth and so too, can boat trips to view the many sandy bays and coves dotting the lovely island coast. We are surrounded by some absolutely breath-taking walks including Headon Warren, Tennyson Downs and Freshwater Bay to name but a few. To ensure you have the best time, we will also be available every day during your stay for anything you might need. We live in the flat attached to the house but will leave you alone unless you need us.
