Stay in the much sought after Mount Pleasant Area nestled in the neighborhood of charming character homes! Walkable & central spot with everything close by. <10 minutes WALK to nightlife, restaurants, murals, shops, and cafes on Main Street, <20 minutes WALK to Commercial Drive. 7 minutes drive to the Olympic Village Square where you can begin your journey on the Seawall, and a 9 minute drive to the buzzing downtown core. Major bus routes are only 2 blocks away from the home on Broadway street. The space Parking: Free street parking available in this neighbourhood. No time limits, 24/7. The space: This place is suitable for solo travelers, couples, or best friends who don't mind sharing a cozy space :). The suite is a cozy and space efficient one bedroom area for you to enjoy. Two luggage racks are provided for use, in addition to a hidden storage case underneath the bed for you to place your clothing/belongings in (small vacuum is stored in this case too). Basic necessities will be provided for, along with complimentary coffee and tea. Please note, you will need to go down a small flight of exterior STAIRS to enter the home. The suite is a partial underground suite, with another family living upstairs (completely separated and locked off). The Area: Best of both worlds-- this home is just a block off of two large streets, making it very CONVENIENT to walk, transit, or Uber/Lyft around, while also being nestled in a quiet and safe neighbourhood. This area is charming, and walkable distance to various parks, art murals, cafes, restaurants, and bars if you are looking to explore Mount Pleasant. Not to mention, this home is between two vibrant key streets in Vancouver, arguably with the most character in the whole city, Main Street and Commercial Drive (ie. "The Drive"). In these areas, you will find all of the local favourites for restaurants, bars, breweries, cafes, art, and events! Being centrally located, exploring other areas like Olympic Village, Chinatown, Granville Island, and the core of Downtown are all within a 10-15 minute drive. Forget something? If you're missing anything, want a late night snack, looking to cook, etc., there are a few grocery stores and convenience stores (one is open 24/7) within a 2-5 minute walk! See neighbourhood details below for more information. Guest access This is located on the lower floor level. The SEPATATE entrance to your stay is accessible from the backyard. Please ensure you enter through the correct gate that's located on the SIDE of the home, take the pathway along the narrow path and through to the backyard, and enter the lower floor from there. You will receive an airbnb message with your self check-in keypad code for the keyless entry, along with detailed check-in photos, the morning of check-in. **As this home is a duplex, there is another family who resides in the front of the home, please do not disturb them.** During your stay We are committed to being quick responsive hosts! Feel free to reach out if there is anything that you need, or if you would like some recommendations on things to do or see! Other things to note !! Absolutely No Parties!! - Quiet hours start at 9PM. - As this private suite resides in a duplex, there is another family who lives in the front side of the home. Please be respectful of them and refrain from loud noises, especially at night.
