The space for rent is the entire ground floor. We live upstairs. The entrance is separate, but the driveway is shared. Two doors to the technical rooms overlook the outdoor space, which are accessible by the owners if needed. 🚘 The paved and public road reaches the church of San Leonardo, an 8-minute walk away. Then there is a final stretch on a dirt road to get to the house. (To get there you go through the village of Casamazzagno, the road is two-way but with only one lane, in some places it is narrow and you have to stop on the side to let go, in case you were afraid you can park in the village square and go up on foot.) The property is a characteristic 1889 "tabia' "in stone and wood located at 1400 meters above sea level. 🏡 It was recently renovated with a green building conservation project that won a regional award. The surrounding land is used for grazing at certain times of the year, garden, and lawn. The antique larch wood and stone walls have been preserved as they were. The tap water is good to drink. 🚰 Guest access You can also eat at the outdoor table, which is for your exclusive use. There is a room with two beds and an adjoining room with a sofa bed with two single beds, dining table, fridge, electric hot plate (cutlery, dishes, pots and pans available) and the bathroom with sink, toilet, bidet, shower. Other things to note Without taking the car you can hike on Mount Spina, in the paths of Col Quaternà, an ancient volcano. 🌋 If you are lucky, you can see roe deer under the house. I recommend waking up early in the morning for a better chance, but also during the day and at night listen to the animals of the forest. 🦌 At certain times you will be surrounded by grazing cows. 🐮 DOGS 🐶 maximum 1 small dog with use of own bedding.
