PURPLE DREAM for a romantic holiday

Purple dream apartment is located in the immediate vicinity of Dubrovnik's medieval core in region called Dubrovnik historic gardens. It is situated on the slopes overlooking the center, giving you the splendid view over the town and surrounding sea. All travelers are welcome. Even furry ones:-) The space Purple dream is a very cosy romantic apartment that has all amenities you need in a modern home. Even though our house is over 300 years old, it has recently been fully renovated with all installations, roofing, insulation and furnish done anew. Neighborhood is in the immediate vicinity of The Old town, but yet far enough to be peaceful and quiet at night. Location of the apartment is perfect so you can walk almost everywhere, and also there is a bus stop nearby if you wish to visit surrounding area. In our house we have two apartments available for rent: Purple dream and White magic. Both with separate entrances and amenities, sharing only the main entrance to the street. Those are the only two apartments in the building, they are connected with a stairway that flows from main entrance, passing the door of Purple dream and continuing to the entrance of White magic. This way, if families or a group of friends travel together, they can rent both apartments that can accommodate up to 6 persons (Purple dream 2 and White magic 4). Both apartments have seaview overlooking Dubrovnik Old town. Purple dream is lower 1/2 floor apartment (6 steps from the street entrance), and White magic is upper 1 and 1/2 floor apartment (25 steps from the street entrance). Since our building is located on the slopes overlooking the Old medieval center, there are some steps in the area. Our building is not located on the main street, so it cannot be reached by the car, only scooter-bike-motorcycle. Mainly there are 4 routs leading to and from our apartments. First one has no steps, and this route can be used if You drive two wheel vehicle. If You take this route, it will take You 20 min to Pile gate and Old town. On this route, You would connect to main road accessible by car in 500 Meters. Second one has some steps, not too many or narrow, fairly dispersed and are not too hard to climb. On this route, You would connect to main road accessible by car in 100 Meters. This one is the one that we always recommend to our guests to use when getting to the apartment. If You use taxi service it is best to tell the driver just to drop You at this spot with address Volantina 1. There are two more routs that are to be used when going to the Old Town. One will take You 5, and the other 10 min walk. When going to the Old Town You will walk down hill, so it is not the big difference. Both of them have steps. The quick one has many steps in the beginning quite narrow at times, and the rest of the way is flat. This is not bad if You are going down, but please avoid this one on Your way back, especially if You carry luggage. The other one is my favorite for going to the Old town because even though there are some steps, they are not too many of them and they are not narrow but fairly dispersed and are not too hard to climb or walk down. The best thing about this route is that it is among oldest streets outside Dubrovnik walls so You will pass near interesting historic places on Your way to Old town. The fact that this route is mainly in the shade helps in the summer. Purple dream is also very relaxed place located in quiet neighborhood away from night life and traffic. In the neighborhood there are mostly Young families with children, Senior citizens and private accommodation apartments which should provide you with a good night sleep. Hosting of our apartments is mostly done by me (Maja) and my husband Srđan, and so far it was a great experience both for us as well as for our guests. As hosts, we are not intrusive, however our guests can reach us any time if they need anything Guest access Apartment contains, bedroom, living room with kitchen and a bathroom. Also, there is a stairway hall connecting the apartment entrance to the main street entrance. Other things to note We will not charge extra person fee for infants sleeping in kinderbed. We own a Ragdoll cat that is used to visiting our guests, so please advise in front if you are allergic to cats and we will keep him away
