The hexagonal living area includes a country-style kitchen and dining room, with stunning views of the surrounding garden and bushland from the cozy lounge room. You can enjoy bush walks on the property, visit local attractions, or simply relax and savor the tranquility. The space Blackwood Bush Retreat is nestled in a valley of natural bushland, inviting you to explore at your leisure. Wander down to the creek that flows through the property, take bushwalks, and keep an eye out for the diverse wildlife that calls this place home, including wallabies, echidnas, wombats, kangaroos, goannas, possums, and over 60 species of birds. The property also features a large privately fenced garden and a wood-fired BBQ with outdoor seating—perfect for a daytime picnic or an evening of stargazing with a glass of wine. If you prefer a cozy night indoors, relax by the fire or watch a movie on one of the streaming services. Aaron and Jess live close by and are available on short notice if you need assistance with anything. While guests often comment on how quiet it is in the valley, please note that family life continues for us during your stay. However, all windows at Blackwood Bush Retreat are double-glazed, ensuring you can enjoy your privacy and tranquility. Guest access The entire home, along with the private garden, is available to guests. You’re also welcome to explore the 100 acres of native bushland. Please note that a couple of private spaces are not accessible to guests, as they are where Aaron, Jess, and Alia live.
