Take a vacation with the whole family - sleeps 11 guests in 6 bedrooms. No hidden costs; electricity, linen, towels, soap, basic kitchen ingredients, etc. included. Beach townhouse at Storebælt has sea views with sunrise, blooming nature and rich bird and wildlife. At night, there is "dark sky" with ample opportunity to watch shooting stars or cuddle with bonfires. Centrally located on Østfyn, 20-25 minutes to Nyborg and Svendborg. The area has plenty to offer for all ages. Own training facilities, local tips. The space The farm Strandbyhus can be traced back to 1860. We took it over in 2021 after falling in love with it and the surroundings at first sight. We want to give others the opportunity to experience the amazing tranquility and nature and the romantic old property. The farm was before our takeover for just over 100 years of family, and until the early 00s, the family delivered fresh milk for the Danes every morning. We focus on our nut plantation and sweet chickens😃 You'll find a storybook about the property and the area in the house if it's of interest to you. The farmhouse dates from 1860, appears neat and with modern necessities such as a dishwasher and washing machine. Considering its age, it is extremely well maintained - but of course there are a few crooked floors, lower ceilings and less soundproofing than the typical houses of the 21st century😄 The farmhouse is parallel to the Great Belt, and there are great views from all rooms - the master bedroom is located on the 1st floor, and there are views of sunrise and Langeland in the middle of the water. We've set up a workspace with a raise-bed, ergonomic chair, large screen, and power, so you can write down the brilliant thoughts that the inspiring surroundings might provide. We have set up our own training room in a garage, which you are welcome to use (no outdoor shoes!). When you stay with us, the profits go to help realize our dream of establishing one of Denmark's first sustainable, organic nut plantations of about 10 hectares. We planted around 12,000 trees and shrubs in the winter of 2022-2023 and decorated the plantation with many different varieties and biotopes with flowers, etc. to create good conditions for biodiversity. The 5,000 year old Bronze Age, beautifully situated in one of our fields, bears witness to the area's cultural heritage. Here you can hear the history of the Great Belt with the bees buzzing around your ears and the trees growing up🤠 Guest access You will have the entire farmhouse and garden to yourselves. If it has your interest, we are happy to show you around the property and the fields and share our future plans for the farm. A tractor trip can also be arranged for the little ones if it's something that can bring out a smile: -) Access to the training room is agreed upon arrival (Remember: no outdoor shoes!). Other things to note We take care of most things - bed linen, towels, proper kitchen utensils, basic kitchen supplies, etc. The area has plenty of opportunities for all ages. Both Nyborg, Svendborg, Lundeborg and Ørbæk are busy during the summer months with holiday activities at the ports, beach, fields, castles, etc. For the active, there are beach, sailing, biking, hiking, forests, castle parks, ice cream markets, sight seeing, shopping, city walking, cultural experiences, cinema, etc. 10 minutes walk away you will find a large campsite where there is a family-friendly restaurant, water park, mini golf, etc. You can also use our training room by appointment (remember no outdoor shoes).
