Designated parking. #TheCatalpa The space Large Victorian house on a quiet tree-lined street. You get access to the entire house and property. Featured is a front porch with seating and a private garden with a large patio with bistro and chairs. We provide gas Weber grill and grilling utensils, hammock in the garden, beach basics (cart with beach umbrella and towels). Main Floor: (Library, dining room, living room, powder room, kitchen) Entrance with library, large living room with TV (with Apple TV) and fireplace, dining area with large dining table, fully equipped kitchen ready for cooking and a powder room with a sink and bidet toilet. From the kitchen you can walk out to private patio and garden through large French door. Second Floor: (3 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms) Room #1: King size bed, Roku TV, wardrobe and built-in open closet with hangers for your shirts and dresses; this room features a large en suite bathroom for two with 2 rain showers and a large double vanity and toilet. Room #2: Queen size bed, side tables, wardrobe, Roku TV, computer desk with a desk chair. Room #3: Queen size bed, wardrobe, bed stand, Roku TV. Bathroom #2: Spacious bathroom with claw-foot bathtub, walk-in rain shower, vanity, mirror. Guest access You have access to the entire property and house (except basement and attic), front porch and private garden with a patio which are easily accessed via large French door from the kitchen area. To lock the French door from the kitchen: close the door, pull up the handle and lock. Other things to note TV and Sound System: Bedrooms: Each bedroom has a smart TV running on Roku. Feel free to log into your favorite apps. Living Room: 65" TV uses Apple TV and Bose Soundbar. To turn on the TV, simply press the 'Menu' white button a few times, it will turn on the TV and the Apple TV. It is operated by two remotes: Apple TV remote for surfing through the apps, feel free to log in to your favorite app. Bose remote, it is used to turn the volume up and down, as well as setting up your phone to play music from your streaming service. Fireplace: Gas-powered fireplace uses a remote to turn on/off and to increase/decrease the flame. In order to operate the fireplace, you need to open gas valve on the right side of the unit and using remote press and hold the two red buttons. Please contact us if you need more detailed instructions using the fireplace. Always turn off the fireplace when now in the house. Planning a dinner with family or friends: We do not allow parties at our house, but if you communicate to us during the booking that you would like a small gathering or dinner with family/friends, we can help you prepare for additional $50/person. The dining table sits 8 people and with 4 extra chairs maximum of 12 people can be accommodated. During the warm weather you can also utilize the patio the table outside. Unauthorized Guests: Maximum number of guests is 6; each additional unauthorized guest charge is $100/guest per night. Parking: We have a designated space to park your car in the rear of the property from the alley. When you receive your check-in instructions we will give you the details how to access parking.
