La Maison Biscaya (680 m2) is an old farmhouse recently renovated, shared, carefully decorated and very comfortable on 5000 m2 of land. It is located on the heights of Çaro, a typical village of the Basque Country, quiet and in nature and only 3 minutes from Saint Jean Pied de Port and its amenities. You will enjoy the exceptional 360° view of the mountains. It is the perfect base for visiting the Basque Country, hiking or other activities or simply relaxing The space The Arradoy apartment is on the 2nd floor of Maison Biscaya. It is large (55 m2) and charming with its exposed beams. It has a master bedroom with a quality 160 bed, a bathroom with rain shower and a separate toilet, another bedroom with 2 single beds (which can be combined to make a large bed on request), another bathroom with rain shower and toilet, a very well equipped kitchen, open to the dining room and comfortable living room. You have a private area in the huge garden (4000 m2) with a wooden sofa-terrace for napping, reading a good book, having an aperitif, a table for your meals and a plancha for good grilled food! The view of the mountains is breathtaking and the sunsets are wonderful! You have access to the shared pool with its many deckchairs as well as all the recreational facilities (petanque, ping pong, foosball, billiards, board games). In front of the house, you have a small children's park that is very popular with the little ones. This apartment has AIR CONDITIONING, fans, mosquito nets. The house also has an ELECTRIC CHARGING STATION Everything is done here to make you feel good as soon as you arrive (beds made, quality linen, essentials to start your stay quietly) On the ground floor, you have a large living room shared with the other tenants which is very pleasant in summer for its coolness and also in winter to sit by the stove… to read, play and consult all the documents at your disposal. Christel and Dominique, the owners who live on site, former city dwellers, will be happy to welcome you and share with you their love of the Basque country that they have frequented since their youth and their good addresses if you wish... They also offer on-site services and upon prior reservation, subject to availability: breakfasts, meals and picnic, babysitter, yoga teacher, masseuse, beautician, bike rental or put you in touch with professionals off the beaten track such as a mountain guide and a speleologist or with farmers. Everything has been designed to preserve the tranquility of everyone in the apartments as well as outside. The atmosphere is warm, friendly and relaxed but always with respect for the place, others and the well-being of everyone. No parties allowed No outside visitors allowed The pool (5x10 m) is open and heated from May to October depending on weather conditions and is open from 10 a.m. to 10 p.m. Swimming is unsupervised and forbidden for unaccompanied children. Children are under the full responsibility of their parents.
