A private space on the bottom level of a century old DC row home, the apartment boasts a full kitchen with oven, stovetop, microwave, and coffee maker, a washer and dryer, WiFi, smart TV, fresh linens and towels, an easily converted sofa bed, a bedroom with a queen size bed, and a quiet back patio. Located a short walk from neighborhood favorite Moreland's Tavern, entrances to the trails of the beautiful forest of Rock Creek park, a Saturday Farmer's Market with great breakfast sandwiches, a local CrossFit gym, and a well appointed corner store for all of your basic grocery needs. Enjoy easy access to Downtown DC and beloved Tourist Attractions and seasonal festivals via the 16th Street and 14th Street buslines (with nearby Metro Stop transfers!), a 15/20 minute uber/lyft/rideshare ride, or if you prefer biking there is a bike share on the corner! Free street parking on the block, just keep an eye on the street sweeping signs for restrictions. Guest access This unit is completely private, with a front entrance accessible via keypad code. The patio/backyard is a shared space which you are welcome to- enjoy the solo stove firepit and just ask us how to operate the Traeger Grill! The garage in the backyard is our private space, and we ask that you do not attempt to access it. Other things to note While the apartment is 100% private, with private entrance, bathroom and kitchen, it is a part of (the basement) of our home. Because of the nature of classic DC rowhomes there will likely be some noise that will be heard even in the basement, from our first floor and from our next door neighbors. We do our very best to keep our young children quiet, and keep disturbance to a minimum, but wanted to make sure you are aware of the traveling noise of foot steps and kids at play!
