Description

Lovingly restored comfortable 3 bedroom cottage with 2 bathrooms. House with garden. plenty of room for all the family to sit and relax or to explore the surrounding sights that Speyside has to offer. The space Fully refurbished and extended property , large entrance hall with views straight through the house to the back garden. Very quiet relaxing location , super kitchen with breakfast bar and all the amenities you would require. Very comfortable and cosy atmosphere in the cottage with some wee quirks as is an old building. Other things to note Fochabers is located on the north-east 250 route. Gordon Castle and Walled Gardens are located in Fochabers near Elgin. The castle has an incredibly structured and detailed walled garden, designed by Arne Maynard. Spey Bay Golf Club It’s a course that you must play if you have the time – it’s only about £25. This is a very natural course and is a mix of heathland and links in style.  It’s a straight out and back layout, along the Moray coastline.  Be sure to stop by here. Scottish Dolphin Centre The Scottish Dolphin Centre.  It’s free entry and survives on donations and the help of volunteers.  There’s plenty of seabird watching and you can go on one of their walks or tours, with land based dolphin watching, from the shore. Fantastic single-track mountain bike routes for beginners through to experts There’s a Monster Trail that’s just right for you. Head to Winding Walks for extreme freeriding and the red-grade Fochabers Ring, or start at Ordiequish for slightly easier blue routes. Start at Winding Walks, where the Monster Trails first began, for a great red cross-country trail and some extreme freeriding. The extreme features of the Fochabers Freeride were built almost entirely by volunteers and it’s a wild and scary ride! Take the fun and full-on cross-country Fochabers Ring to get you there – or just enjoy the red trail and keep the hairy stuff for another day… Alternatively, choose to start the Monster Trails at Ordiequish if you’re looking for some exciting blue routes – but don’t assume this is just an easy ride… fun beckons at every turn!
