Relax and unwind at Three Paddocks and a Hill

Experience a taste of life in the country, with all the comforts of home - relax and recharge at Three Paddocks and a Hill. Just 10 minutes from Cygnet and less than an hour from Hobart, your relaxing break awaits. Set among paddocks and wooded hills on our farm, you'll feel completely removed from the hustle and bustle of the normal every day. Watch the fairy wrens dance outside, take in the huge skies and towering eucalyptus trees, pat a goat, and if you're lucky, see the wedge-tailed eagles. The space Three Paddocks and a Hill is set in a rural area, on a dirt road (fine for 2WD vehicles) amongst other rural properties. You’re likely to hear owls at night, along with quolls squabbling, and frogs if we’ve recently had rain. There are no street lights in the area so you’ll be able to see the stars, and on a clear night, the Milky Way! North-facing and double glazed windows ensures you’re toasty, and the great cross ventilation design captures the southerly breezes, cooling the space on the warmer days. There are extra blankets if you’re feeling chilly, along with a portable heater, but with the wood fire on, you’re likely to be nice and cozy. Guest access The cottage is all yours while staying at Three Paddocks and a Hill. The outside space around the cottage is fenced with grass and a fire pit to enjoy. The fireplace inside will have firewood stacked for you to use - should you need more firewood, the woodshed next to the cottage has plenty of wood stacked that can be used. Please ensure the gates to the cottage are closed in the evening, otherwise the wallabies and pademelons get in and eat all the trees! Other things to note Please don’t climb paddock fences or go in the paddocks, the animals like their space. The animals will come up to the fence to greet you, especially if you have sliced apples or carrots for them!
