Your family will be close to everything when you stay at this centrally-located place. This property is located one block from downtown, which has a bowling alley, coffee shop, and restaurants /bars. There are two parks in town for children, a afforable swimming pool in the summer, and a local lake for fishing, kayaking, or taking a stroll around. Chappell also has a nice 9 hole golf course. The space This home is a smaller but full functioning home. *** NO ANIMALS please! We have a child with severe allergies who has been in the ER more than once to get epi after albuterol wouldn't work for an asthma attack due to animal related allergies. We are in a rural area and the nearest hospital is 15 minutes away at best. Nothing is scarier than watching your child gasp for air. There are plenty of lodging options that have no problem allowing animals; service or pet. The large bedroom features a queen size bed with both king and standard size pillows. The comforter is made of soft goose down. There is also a private entrance to the bedroom with a window that can be opened for fresh air. The door is covered with a full length black out curtain. The bedroom also offers a full closet, dresser, and a velvet soft chair for reading or lounging. Both the living room and bedroom have their own Roku TVs. The living room has large couch comfy couch. There are games you can play with friends and family. We have provided a throw blankets that you can snuggles up under while watching a movie. Our cute compact dining table double and/or triples in size, can easily be moved into the living space for a game night with friends and family. There are extra folding chairs are in the unit if needed. The kitchen is fully stocked for most of your simple cooking/baking needs. The 24 inch fridge will fit enough to feed you for a few days. There is a full set of pots and pans, utensils, knives, cutting boards, coffee mugs for 4, wine glasses for 4, children plates, cups, utensils, and more. The spout of the sink comes off for easy rinsing of dishes. The stove is also a 24 inch stove with a vent less hood. The Keurig will provide hot water for tea (we offer black and green) or coffee (medium roast or decaf). We do ask that you cover anything you are warming up that might splatter with the microwave cover that is located inside of the microwave. The dumpster for the house is down the alley and to the north. There is another dumpster across the street that you could use if you didn't want to walk so far. Most of the time, ee have a light stock of food available for purchase to those arriving later (when the stores/restaurants are all closed). Items are sold at cost, not for profit. No need to go hungry after a long day on the road! The bathroom has large shower with an on demand hot water heater. the shower head moves up and down for a variety of heights. Additionally, the shower head can be removed to rinse off with as you please. There is a hairdryer under the sink and soft towels to dry off with, located on the shelf of the bedroom closet. We do have shampoo, conditioner, soap, and toothbrushes under the sink if needed, other items available upon request if you forget them or are in need of something. The utility room offers a full size washer and dryer. Also, available is a utility sink with a spout the comes off for spraying clothes or anything you need down with. The vacuum and broom are also located in this room. This laundry room is shared with the North unit, please keep it tidy if doing laundry. We provide several laundry baskets to sort and keep laundry in. Please don't do laundry after 10pm or before 7am. Wifi password is located in the guest book next to the Keurig in the kitchen when you walk into the house. Our contact information is in the black binder under the tv in the living room. There are 3 cameras on the exterior of the property. One camera near each exterior door. PARKING: Parking is in front of the house on the side of the street. The streets are very wide. There is plenty of room to park if you are pulling a trailer. It is about 20 ft from your vehicle to the front door on the sidewalk. Guest access All exterior doors have a keyless entry. We will text a code to use to enter once reservation is confirmed. We change the code between each guest. The utility room with the washer and dryer have a lock inside each unit. Other things to note This unit is part of a duplex. The second unit can be booked if you have a larger group. Access is through the "shared" laundry room, so you do not have to go outside to access it. The second unit has a larger kitchen, bathroom and living room but a smaller bedroom.
