This rare gem on over 5 acres is just a short drive from the epic views and hikes of Olympic National Forest/Park. A two mile drive to paddling on Lake Kokanee or 4 miles to Lake Cushman. Enjoy soaking in the hot tub under the stars. 10 minute drive to scuba dive sites and a 1 mile drive to Hood Canal access. Spend the day lounging or out on adventures - do as little or as much as you want from one central location in our stylish forested Lodge. The space There are two bedrooms; each with a comfortable queen bed. This newly constructed Lodge was inspired by the Nordic design style. Clean contemporary style with natural cozy textures. Perfect place to cuddle up on a cool day. Kitchen has all the normal kitchen items needed for most meals. Cappuccino machine, coffee, and french press provided. All towels and linens provided for house/spa use. We try to make sure that our guests don't have to over pack everything they need. The Lodge is centrally located to allow our guests access to everything this area has to offer. The only restaurants and shopping for the area are 1 mile away. It is a beautiful scenic drive along Lake Cushman (about 20 minutes plus photo stops) to The Staircase entrance of Olympic National Park. Relax and accomplish nothing on one of the many near by waterfronts or experience the epic views/ activities. Something for everyone. There are trails that run throughout the property, a yoga mat, corn hole, board games, campfire, BBQ, and a hot tub. One mile away is a local brewery, distillery, wine tasting shop, and waterfront dining. Our Lodge is fully stocked so prepare to feel right at home. We clean and sanitize before and after every stay, both the Lodge and the hot tub. Guest access Guests have access to the whole property. Only the trails/driveway is shared and that is only by a few neighbors that live a parcel away. Other things to note What our guests like to do the most: A lot of our guests get an early start to hike Lena lake and then spend the afternoon eating seafood at Hama Hama. They finish the day at Potlatch Brewing in town before soaking in the hot tub. They wake up to birds singing and views of the forest. Our ambitious guests hike up to Flapjack Lake or up to the top of Mt. Elinor to experience the amazing views I have in the photo gallery of this listing. They finish the day by having dinner at El Puerto de Angeles on the waterfront in town. Make sure to have a rain coat at hand year round. Showers happen...this is a rainforest after all.
