"Ashera" a Frank Lloyd Wright legacy home
My Prairie home was architected and built by Frank Llyod Wright apprentice Thomas Olsen in 1982. "Ashera", as it was named, is located directly on the Mississippi river and was featured in Better Homes and Gardens magazine in 1982. Your private unit is a one-bedroom with private bath and full kitchen with private entrance and parking. Come enjoy the peace, the serenity, the artistic vision of this architectural legend. Enjoy the abundant birdlife, the beautifully designed landscape. Thom You will be staying in what was originally meant for Tom's mother-in-law. His life partner, Merle Sykora, an artist, professor and a student of FLW as well. It is across the garage from the main house and has a private entrance. One-bedroom with queen bed, full bath, fully stocked kitchen, wi-fi and 2 televisions and separate workspace, games and puzzles. Private patio with breakfast table and full run of the property. If you are here for the Airborne Disc Golf course, we are located 10 minutes away. We also have a practice target installed for you to enjoy during your stay. In the fall we have abundant colors nearby and are on the way if you are headed to the north shore. We plan to be open year-round, so if you want to be close to the vast snow mobile trails located only a few miles away, consider Ashera for your stay. There is plenty of parking for your trailer and the unit is warm and cozy. Private outdoor entrance with lockbox. Private parking is only steps from your entrance.
