Private party field/glamping site - includes 2 bell tent, 2 vintage caravans (enough beds for 18ppl), a kitchen shed, portaloo (no shower). Come & enjoy our beautiful private field which is located next to the river on our family working farm - Darwen Side Farm, Roach Bridge, Samlesbury/Hoghton. Plan and enjoy your own little camping festival ✨🏕️ The space Two 5 metre Bell Tents which come with 3 double air beds, each bell tent can sleep up to six people. Willow the vintage caravan sleeps 3 people, there is a double and single fold out bed. The second vintage caravan sleeps 3 people, there is a double and single bed. There is a sheltered kitchen/dining area that comes with seating, cooking stoves, utensils and games box. Enjoy a nice roaring fire with the ground sunken fire pit with seating for up to 16 people, This area is adjacent to the BBQ laydown and the wood store for ease of access. There is an abundance of seating and dining tables to cater for all needs. We have tried to cater for all types of visitors from Hen parties, walkers, family celebrations. Book the number of guests at the booking checkout (minimum booking of 5 guests, up to 16 guests). Please contact us before booking, should you wish to increase the number of people from 16 + (which will be an additional charge per person per night). Note - you would need to bring additional beds/tents for your extra guests (there are enough beds for 18 people). Guest access Guests will have there own access to the private field through the farm which is fully gated for reassurance and parking is down at the campsite field. There is a portaloo at the campsite, with an additional sink (with cold drinking water) at the gated entrance of the campsite. Welcome pack provided with a map showing boundaries, walkways and local amenities. Other things to note *****DISCLAIMER***** Horseshoe Campsite Disclaimer 2025 – Terms and Conditions By booking and using the facilities at the campsite, I acknowledge and agree to the following terms and conditions. If anything is unclear, I will contact the proprietor for further explanation to avoid any misunderstandings. • I understand that the proprietor accepts no liability for accident, injury, loss or damage sustained by any residents, their family, visitors, vehicles or personal effects, however caused. • If for any reason the facilities/campsite have been rendered unsuitable for usage/camping (e.g. damage due to the weather, adverse weather conditions) on the date booked, I understand that alternative dates will be offered. • I acknowledge that this is a working farm and I will stay within the Horseshoe field boundary unless following the public footpath. I will be aware of and not approach farm vehicles, farm buildings/structures, and livestock. • I will adhere to the signs located around the boundary of the campsite and the farm. I will close all gates behind me. • I will read the welcome pack and familiarise myself with the campsite boundary, where the river flows, and the public footpaths. • If exploring the river and riverbank, I will do so at my own risk. I will not enter the river due to fast-flowing deep water and submerged objects. I will also be aware of the unstable riverbank and Giant Hogweed. • When using the fire pit and gas stove, I will do so at my own risk. I will note that a fire extinguisher, fire blanket, and first aid kit are supplied at the campsite. • I will not have any fire, naked flames, or smoke inside or within a 5-metre radius of the kitchen party shed, bell tents, or vintage caravans. • I will not wear shoes inside the bell tents or vintage caravans (shoe baskets are provided). • I acknowledge that vehicles and contents are left at the owner's own risk. • If there has been any loss or damage to facilities during my stay, I will report them promptly, especially before check-out. I accept that minor accidents do happen, however, I understand that if the damage is significant, I/the individual who made the booking will be liable. • I will arrive after 1 pm and depart before 10 am unless prior arrangements have been agreed upon by the proprietor. • I will respect wildlife and neighbours by keeping noise to a minimum between 10:00 pm and 8:00 am. • I agree that I will not commit any criminal offence (including, but not limited to, vandalism and using illegal drugs). • I acknowledge that a risk assessment is available upon request. • I will not play ball games near the vintage caravans and bell tent. • I will keep glass and metal separate in the bins provided. • I will leave the campsite clean and tidy/leave it as I found it, washing up anything used out of the kitchen box. • I will park cars behind the kitchen shed and will not drive on the long grass (as this grass will be cut to feed the cows in winter).
