Friendly, recently renovated maisonette for 1-2 families or for a group of friends in a village near the University of Ioannina. It is located next to the entrance of Egnatia and the Ionian Road, facilitating access and expanding the possibilities of escape to Zagorochoria, Vikos gorge, Tzoumerka, Ionian Islands and Ionian beaches. It is 8 km from the centre of Ioannina, while the theater of Dodoni (15 km), the museum of Vrellis (8 km) and the cave of Perama (13 km) are nearby. The space Our house is perfect for families and groups of friends and comfortably sleeps 6 to 8 guests. The ground floor consists of a modern kitchen which is fully equipped with everything you’ll need during your stay and an open plan living room with two sofas, a coffee table, an energy fireplace and a smart TV. The sociable living and dining areas have plenty of seating space for all guests and it is the perfect place to get cosy and put your feet up when you want to relax and unwind after a day exploring the beautiful city or nearby mountains. There is a spacious veranda in front of the living room, where you can enjoy breakfast or a morning coffee. Upstairs you will find 3 bedrooms: 2 bedrooms with a doule bed and ample storage for all your clothes and belongings and 1 bedroom with a bunk bed and a sofa. The bathroom has a bathtub and a washing machine. Just outside of the bedrooms, there is a small living room with a double sofa bed. Α garden, with trees and bushes, is shared with one more property and there is parking space appropriate for two cars. Other things to note The area of Ioannina, with its rich culture and history, influenced by Christian, Muslim and Jewish traditions, offers travellers plenty to experience (ancient ruins, byzantine churches, remains of Ottoman buildings, the old jewish Synagogue and neighborhood, etc.). A variety of activities, related to the mountain range of Pindos, are offered in less than an hour driving distance. For instance, there are captivating hiking paths for all levels of experience and rafting in famous rivers such as Voidomatis and Arachthos. There are also numerous biking routes near Ioannina, such as the circular route of the picturesque Ioannina lake (Pamvotida), and mountain biking trails outside the city of Ioannina. On the island of Ioannina lake, one is able to attend the exhibition of Ali Pasa museum and taste the local food and sweets. Theodoros Papagiannis Museum of Contemporary Art in Elliniko village is a wonderful destination that combines modern art with a beautiful traditional village.
