Description
Stay in a rural, cozy cabin just 30 minutes south of Route 66. The Petrified Forest as well as local lakes, streams, and the White Mountains are just a short drive away. Situated amongst pine trees, this private, single-level guesthouse for 2 (plus 1 infant) offers comfort, privacy, and a taste of nature. Your 30-pound or less, well-behaved dog is welcome and will enjoy a fenced yard. A microwave, frig, Keurig, toaster oven, and outdoor griddle are provided for your convenience. The space This 200sq ft board and batten, lodge brown cabin will remind you of happy days at camp, without the chores! The indoor shower/bathroom has galvanized metal stall, a heat lamp, and ceramic heater. Extra toiletries are stored in an old pie cabinet. Kitchenette has a small, red Frigidaire with freezer. Handy drop-leaf table handles meals, games, or work. There's a drawer filled with games, puzzles, cards, and art supplies. Outside is a 160sq ft deck, a table top griddle, farm sink, and a cutting board for travelers who wish to cook. The private, fenced backyard invites star-gazing and sunsets to remember! Guest access A large, private parking area to the right of the driveway provides a handy entrance....just follow the Bluebird Cabin sign. If you prefer a smooth surface for your wheeled luggage, feel free to enter the cabin at the front door opposite our home. Other things to note Please let us know if you would like to make breakfast out on the deck using the outdoor griddle. We can provide farm-fresh eggs on request. You can stage a Route 66 photo op using an old Ford truck as a bench, feed birds, or watch the sunset in two comfy Adirondack chairs. If you plan to leave your dog in the yard for a bit, we are happy to look in on it by arrangement. Please use the "Inquiry" option if you have any questions.
