Domaine de la Louisière: The Barn

On the edge of Sèvre Nantaise and in the heart of the Vendée countryside, the Louisière is a former agricultural estate where the Château, the Ferme and the Etable have formed an elegant and peaceful ensemble since 1845. Located 20 minutes from Puy du Fou, it allows you to enjoy all the tourist attractions of the region, to discover the richness of its history, and the beauty of its landscapes. Before the renovation work, this house was an authentic stable that has retained all the charm of its history. The space La Ferme and L'Etable are two independent accommodations sharing a common courtyard but each with a private space opening onto the countryside. Both buildings were completely renovated in 2021 respecting their original appearance: slate, granite, cut stones and bricks and offers all modern comforts in a peaceful and relaxing setting. La Ferme and L'Etable are open for rent separately from each other. A large garden allows you to fully enjoy the surrounding countryside. The barn has been restructured to make it a welcoming home while maintaining its authenticity. The awning, formerly a shelter for animals, is particularly charming and gives access to the garden directly from the living room. Access to the Sèvre Nantaise as well as the property's tennis court will enhance your stay. Ground floor: A large room consisting of a living room, equipped with a wood stove (wood reserve available), and a dining room. A large open kitchen with its island, very friendly living room. Fully equipped kitchen and small laundry room. Separate toilet. 1st floor: Two bedrooms with 160 x 200 double bed, each with a private bathroom. Two bedrooms each with two single 90 X 200 beds sharing a bathroom. 1 separate toilet. A small upstairs lounge with TV located on the landing. Bedding and appliances are new. Heating by heated floor on the ground floor (heat pump) and electric convectors upstairs. Linens and towels are provided, beds are made on arrival, you just have to enjoy this beautiful accommodation! Guest access The entire place is reserved for you. Other things to note Private access 800 m from Sèvre Nantaise, where you can fish (with a fishing license) and swim. Tennis: schedules will be agreed upon with the owner. The tennis court is in excellent condition, recently repainted.
