Nisswa | Cabin & Dock | Beautiful Views | Lake Fun

Come enjoy peaceful Lower Cullen Lake, bordering the north side of Nisswa. Close to great shopping & dining but still nestled in the woods on a perfectly sized lake. Get to town by bike or by foot on the Paul Bunyan Trail or take a 4 minute drive to town. You'll have 200' of private lakeshore & dock along with easy public access, making storing your water toys there a breeze . The house is warmly appointed w/the love & care of our own home. Easily sleeps 8, w/3 bedrooms & 1 bonus sleeping area. The space The cabin sits on a hillside, giving you a great view of the woods on one side and the lake on the other. You'll access the the beautiful water of Lower Cullen Lake via stairs down the hillside with shallow water for wading by shore and great floating on the far side of the dock. The house has 2 bedrooms upstairs with a full bathroom, living areas and dining areas. Dining for 12 available inside along with a table for 4 on the deck off of the kitchen. The upper and lower floors are connected via an outdoor staircase. Below there is one bedroom, a workspace and an open sleeping areas with two beds great for bunking young cousins, siblings or friends. The lower level also has a storage/utility/workroom area. We leave this accessible to guests so that they can get to laundry facilities and pull bikes or small watercraft to enjoy. There is a very utilitarian and unfinished half bath in that space that is great for a quick stop for those coming up from the water. Guest access You'll have access to the entire home and the dock. Feel free to keep your boat there during your stay. We ask that you put in at the public boat ramp and do not bring the boat into the drive. There are trees on either side of the turnaround, making pulling a trailer or boat down and back difficult. Other things to note We believe that family vacations at the lake aren't complete without our four-legged friend. We welcome your four-legged friend for some fun in the sun and water. Please see the guidebook for the best way to enjoy your pup at the cabin. We'll provide covers for furniture, dog bowls and towels for drying off after a day in the lake.
