Bunkie On The Bay

Right on the beach. Your own cozy space. Imagine the memories you'll make in cottage country. In the fall and winter, a cozy space to snuggle into. The Bunkie will be closed during the spring months as we monitor for flooding. Typical re-opening is June. Maximum number of guests is two. The space This studio space is cozy with one King bed, kitchenette, and bathroom with shower. Open the garden doors to a full view of the beautiful Belleisle Bay. Watch the ferry crossing, summer river traffic, and most incredible sunsets! Free use of 2 Kayaks (seasonal) Free firewood for bonfires (seasonal) Easy beach access. 2 Beach chairs provided in summer months. Blackstone BBQ Grill We have tried to make this small space as comfortable as possible, with many important amenities included for a relaxing stay. Please note that we do not have an abundance of space for clothes storage. Guest access The entire bunkie is for your use. Easy check-in with code provided prior to your stay. Self check-in, 3pm Check-out, 11am Other things to note This space is not suitable for children - best suited for couples and singles. Sorry, but we do not allow dogs or pets. Should you want daytime guests during your stay, please request with hosts. Daytime guests are not permitted without prior permission from host. The Hot Tub is for bunkie guests only. Absolutely no overnight guests. No events or parties. Quiet hours between 11pm and 8am. During the summer season you will have your own portion of beach, with your own firepit. This is cottage country and during the summer, especially, you will probably notice some water traffic, road traffic, and sounds of neighboring people enjoying the season. It is a good combination of privacy, but not seclusion. PLEASE NOTE: A neighboring farmer might possibly be parking his tractor on the beach adjacent to, and close to, the bunkie this summer.  He also may be running it to pump water out of the bay for irrigation purposes at undetermined times. THERE MAY BE POSSIBLE NOISE DURING YOUR STAY. THIS IS BEYOND OUR CONTROL AND, UNFORTUNATELY, WE WON'T BE ABLE TO SCHEDULE AROUND IT. This won't affect all of the other amenities, such as bonfires, swimming, kayaking, hot tub, etc...We do need to give full disclosure, though, that your peace may, or may not, be disrupted by tractor noise. In the winter months, the kayaks and fire pit are put away, but the private Hot Tub is yours for your entire stay. One night bookings are available during the fall and winter. The bunkie is heated by a propane heater and electric fireplace, so it is nice and toasty in the winter. However, the floors are always cold. Slippers are provided, but you may want to bring your own. We are closed during the spring season to monitor flooding conditions. Typical opening around June.
