🏡La Maison is a collection of homestays rebuilt from 100-year-old traditional H’mong houses, redesigned with modern comforts while preserving the rich culture of the highland ethnic people. 🌿 No pool, no TV, no AC, but always hot water, internet, and warm blankets. Simple, beautiful moments like wildflowers and the feeling of touching the green mountains. 🌿 📍 8km from Sapa, 30 mins by taxi 🏡 Peaceful, nature-filled, with ethnic minority neighbors 🐕 Dogs, cats & chickens go around The space 🏠 Staying at La Maison means experiencing life in a traditional wooden house of the Hmong and Dzay people. If there are no other guests booking, the whole cozy house is yours, with your own private home space. And if there are other guests coming to stay in the same house, you will interact and make friends with them (this depends on your fate and guests). 🌿 The mountain view changes with the seasons—always beautiful and peaceful, even on foggy or rainy days. More than just a retreat, it's a way to connect with nature and soothe the soul. The private deck is perfect for outdoor dining, while the decor blends Vietnamese textiles with authentic Hmong styling. 👋 We don’t have a receptionist, but sometimes Nicole and Sen will be around to chat. Otherwise, our butler will handle daily cleaning and can prepare breakfast, lunch, or dinner upon request—ensuring both comfort and privacy. 😊 ✨ You are booking 1 room in the house, not the entire house, so you may share common spaces with other guests. 📍 Location The house overlooks mountains, valleys, and a river. accessible by taxi, car, scooter, or even on foot. 🛏️ Bedrooms The house has 5 bedrooms—4 upstairs and 1 downstairs. Each room has large windows overlooking the backyard or front yard. You can book a private room or the entire house for a group or family. 🚿 Bathrooms There are 3 bathrooms: - 1 upstairs - 1 downstairs next to the kitchen - 1 private bathroom in the downstairs bedroom 🧴 Liquid hand wash is provided. Please note: In Vietnam, toilet paper goes in the bin, not the toilet, to prevent blockages. 🍽️ Kitchen Fully equipped with: ✅ Refrigerator ✅ Rice cooker ✅ Electric kettle & toaster ✅ Tea, coffee, oil, soy sauce, salt, pepper, sugar, and spices ✅ A large bottle of drinking water (replenished by the butler) The house gets fresh mountain stream water, suitable for cooking. Please wash your dishes after use and keep the kitchen tidy. 🛍️ You can shop at the local market, and for a small fee, the butler can deliver your groceries to the house. 🧺 There is also a washing machine, detergent, and coat hangers available for laundry. 🧹 Cleaning & service the butler cleans daily, empties trash, and can prepare meals on request. cleaning supplies are also available for your use. 🌿 Experience the mountain view changes with the seasons, offering peace even on foggy or rainy days. the deck provides privacy, ideal for outdoor dining. the decor blends Vietnamese textiles with authentic Hmong styling. 🚭 Smoking non-smoking indoors, but you can smoke on the deck. 📅 Early check-in possible if there are no back-to-back bookings. let us know your arrival time in advance. 💰 Discounts available for extended stays and last-minute bookings—message us for details! Guest access 🍳 Breakfast Included Our butler will prepare breakfast for you every morning from 07:00 to 10:00. 🔑 Security The house has a combination lock for the entrance, and each room has its own lock and key for your security. Please lock the house when going out and keep the lock code with you for your return. ❣️Free luggage storage is available before your check in and after check out 🏡Kitchen and cooking utensils, washing machine, high-speed wifi, amenities (iron, hair dryer, shampoo, shower gel, hand soap, dishwashing liquid, laundry,...) 🧹 Daily Cleaning Our butler will come daily to clean the house and sweep the floors to keep your space fresh and tidy. 🛏️ Bedding & Linen Service - For stays over 7 days, we offer free linen & bedsheet changes. - For shorter stays, a linen change is available for 400,000 VND per request. 🥘 Lunch & Dinner (Upon Request) We offer home-cooked meals using fresh local ingredients. Thanks ❤️ Nicole 🌿 Other things to note - 🗑️ Trash Please don’t leave trash or used towels on the floor. trash must go in the bin, and towels must be in the hamper. don’t forget to turn off the lights before leaving. - 💰 Payment You can pay by bank transfer or cash. please help us manage your bill by keeping track of your used services and paying at check-out—let’s keep things simple and easy 🙂 - 🌡️ Temperature Sapa’s altitude brings cool breezes and high humidity. summers are around 22-27°c, while winters can drop to 0°c. bring a warm jacket or buy one in sapa town. - 🏡 About ta van village Ta Van lies in Muong Hoa valley, home to the H’mong, Dao, and Dzay ethnic groups. the village features traditional stilt houses, wooden homes, local cafés, and restaurants. rice fields support the community, and artisans craft musical instruments, silver, and textiles. - 🌾 What travelers love about ta van Guests love being surrounded by rice fields and ethnic tribes for an authentic cultural experience. every walk offers breathtaking scenery. the village has cafés, markets, and is a great trekking base to nearby villages. walking along the rice paddies with local guides is both insightful and safe. - 🏍️ How to get here Trains, night coaches, and cABIN buses run daily from hanoi to sapa. ta van village is 8 km from sapa, about a 25-minute drive. our trusted taxi driver can take you directly to the house. or, rent a motorbike and drive yourself. some guests leave their luggage at a hotel in sapa if only staying here for a few days. - 🎭 Activities 1️⃣ Trekking Hike through mountains and villages with a local guide. enjoy local cuisine, listen to the river’s sounds, and immerse yourself in nature. perfect for those who love walking and adventure. 2️⃣ Handicraft workshop Experience the h’mong people’s traditional clothing-making process—everything from plant-based dyes to handwoven fabrics. a creative retreat, perfect for foggy, rainy, or sunny days. 3️⃣ Motorbike tour For the adventurous! ride with a guide or drive yourself to explore sapa’s hidden gems—watch the sunset from a mountain top, jump on random rocks, or swim in secret waterfalls. we found the real sapa on motorbikes and would love to share it with you. Other favorite activities include taxi or motorbike tours to Fansipan cable car 🚡, cat cat village, love waterfall, silver waterfall, and heaven gate. or simply relax in a traditional dao herbal bath 🌿.
