Enjoy the deck of this subtropical island getaway, gaze at the water and twinkling constellations or curl up in the swinging chair. Soak in the tub, then fall asleep in a chic bedroom to the sounds of the rainforest. And when you wake up, the espresso machine awaits. Our home is perfect for couples or friends with lots of great insta moments. The space The Yellow House is our holiday home. We have thoughtfully curated every piece from the hug me mugs to the Kate Moss artwork. We have provided you with the things that makes our holidays memorable and amazing. The Main bedroom has a luxurious king size bed, private deck with fringed hammock and a small desk for those inclined to check into the office or not! Second bedroom features a king bed and funky vibe. A very comfortable single sofa third bed that can be available at request. Room has TV/DVD player and water views and often wallaby views. For a fee the room can be set up as two singles. The kitchen is ready for home cooked meals if desired. Prepping food while enjoying the view is a pleasure. Many kitchen staples can be found. A large Weber BBQ will cook fish, roast meat and even bake pizza to perfection. Cocktail shaker, blender and glassware will make your sunset deck drinks decadent! Just bring your poison. Curl up and enjoy the fireplace on cooler nights. A variety of games and DVD’s can be found or log into Netflix. The deck has spectacular views both day and night. For the fishing enthusiasts you can even throw a fishing line off the deck. The festoon lights set a romantic scene for dinner with a view. We have a wallaby family that also likes to visit. On high tide early mornings the fish will be waiting to be fed. The marble bathroom has a large shower and deep bath to soak in after your days activities or day relaxing. Guest access You will have access to the whole house. Some cupboards are locked for our personal items. We will provide you with a code to open the door. You can use all the resort facilities including the pools on Spa Island and sports area. The resort reception does not service airbnb guests. Other things to note You can arrive by ferry or water taxi. Land at Coolangatta airport and be on the island in 90 minutes. The same from Brisbane CBD. Before arrival please check with us to ensure you can get to the island before dark. We can even arrange a golf buggy to deliver you to your home. Walking from the marina is an easy 5 minute stroll. We offer everyone a late midday check out to ensure you get the most out of your time here. Please be aware that you are in a rainforest and there can be mosquitoes. Our deck doors and windows have screens and we supply insect repellent. Couran Cove does not pretend be a 5 star resort rather, it is a one of a kind unique Gold Coast experience full of great people, awesome vista's and friendly wallabies.
