Relax with the whole family, friends or as a couple at this peaceful place to stay. Our lovingly furnished 200-year-old half-timbered house is located in the middle of the village in a residential area. The garden is fenced off, parking spaces are always available in front of the gate. Nearby there are hiking trails, a playground, swimming lakes and activities of the "Bergisches Land." The house is a place of rest and relaxation. Parties are not allowed. Bed linen included for 4 nights or more. The space The 96 sqm house has 2 bedrooms with double beds and 1 small passage bedroom with a single bed where you can add a mattress on request. These rooms are located on the first floor. Downstairs there is a spacious living/dining room, a toilet and a small bathroom with a bathtub. Since we use the house ourselves, we also leave our spices in the fully equipped kitchen for the guests. As a result, as a renter, you have the feeling of being a guest with friends and not in a commercial house. In the garden there is a seating area, comfortable sun loungers, a grill and a fire pit. Wood consumption is not included. A Dutch bike with a basket may be used for shopping trips. For older people who have to go to the bathroom at night, it may be difficult because of the steep old stairs down. There are many children's books for reading aloud, a baby rocker, games and wooden toys. A playground is 200 m away. A swimming lake is easily accessible by car. In the village, it is usually quiet, although of course it happens that the neighbors mow the lawn on the weekend. When our family is in the neighboring house, you can sometimes hear small children through the wall or in the garden next door. Great hiking trails are very close. A mobile sauna from outside can be rented and delivered on request for about €200 per weekend (independent of us, from an outside vendor). Other things to note The Wi-Fi is fine and sufficient for video conferencing. It is very important to separate the garbage precisely, as the garbage cans are rarely emptied in this rural area. Organic (brown bin), yellow (aluminum, plastic), green (paper) and black for residual waste. For used glass, there is a container at the fire department 100 m around the corner. It is possible that every now and then you will hear noises from 'dormice' at night. These protected animals live in old houses sometimes in the attic. It is a quiet area, but every now and then you can hear the little children in the neighboring house on the weekend. Bed linen is only included for stays of 4 nights or more. Please only use the stove (baking cups) with baking paper.
