Kotikelo (@kotikelossa) - atmospheric semi-detached traditional log cabin with great fell scenery and right next to outdoor trails. 100m away you can access skiing tracks, mountain and winter bike trails, snowshoe and hiking trails, and snowmobile trails. Peaceful location - Kotikelo is located at the end of the road in Ylläsjärvi-Palovaara and is well suited for remote work. Apartment equipped with two bedrooms and a small loft - well suited for six people. The space Kotikelo contains two separate bedrooms on the ground floor (one with a double bed, the other with two bunk beds), kitchen and livingroom, separate toilet, bathroom with amazing sauna. The smaller bedroom has a desk and chair for working. The living room/kitchen has a table for four people, which can be extended for six people. The apartment also has a low loft with resting places for four (no emergency exit, so not suitable for sleeping), it works as a nice area for children. The apartment is best suited for a maximum of six people. Bed linen and towels are not included in the reservation. Bedclothes and towels, upon separate request and payment, will be arranged by the cleaner, delivered to the cottage (not made up) at a price of €25/set. Other things to note Living comfort is increased by e.g. drying cabinet, washing machine, WiFi, Chromecast, bluetooth speaker, air-con/heat pump and blinds for bedrooms windows to provide dark space to sleep. You are free to use two sleds and three kick sleds (Kickspark). One pair of snowshoes, sliding snowshoes (OAC) and Fjellpulken children's sled are also available to borrow for most of the season (unless they are used by the cabin owners). If you want to use snowshoes, sliding snowshoes or Fjellpulken sled, please contact the cabin owner first. Bed linen and towels are not included in the reservation. Kotikelo is well suited for families with children, and the equipment includes toys, a baby bed with a thick mattress, a high chair, a changing mat, a children's bathtub, a standing stool and a potty, and a "toilet reducer". You can charge your electric vehicle at Kotikelo (slow charging, 8A).
