The space This is our second home and we spend as much time here as we can. We invite you to enjoy this amazing unique home and look forward to your return trips. This historic authentic home has plenty of exposed white oak beams to maximize the spectacular views. The beautiful mountains and lake serve as a backdrop to a large deck with a pergola, outdoor seating, dining and grilling year around. Located 65 miles away from Nashville makes the location and the cabin a perfect match. The Interior of the cabin features 3 bedrooms, 2.5 baths, a kitchen/living room open concept, cozy fireplace with a monster picture window to take in the amazing view of the lake and mountains. You can have the best of both worlds with all the comforts of home and spectacular sunrise and sunsets on the lake, just a short drive from Nashville. The cabin has nice modern features including a modern kitchen, and wi-fi/cable/smart tv's through out the home. The dining room is set up in the beautiful sunroom, which has an amazing view and a custom hand-made table that seats 14. The community swimming pool, exercise room and pavilion are also available for your enjoyment and is located just minutes from the cabin. Hidden Harbor Marina is just a 10 minute drive and gives you access to all lake activities including fishing, pontoon, wave runners and house boats available year around for daily rentals. More Info about the cabin history and reconstruction: The Sunrise Point cabin was built outside the Chattanooga area utilizing the joint method of construction indicates it was built in 1820's. The logs are of dense American white oak, which was the preferred Lumber due to its strength, durability and size. The cabin was tagged and moved to Center Hill Lake Tennessee. A new concrete walk out basement was built to the exact specifications of the cabin. The basement is constructed of think outer layers of rigid insulation and a rebar and concrete inner core. The logs were rebuilt using a specialized cabin restoration company, the same people that dismantled it. The roof is constructed with heavy panels and there are double glazed windows throughout the home. Guest access You will have access to the entire home. We do have several locked closets with our personal belongs. The kitchen has spices and other cooking stuff available for your use, if you use something a lot please replace. Other things to note There is a Guest book that explains many of the quirks about this home. There are 3 different gas heating areas and each one is set a little bit differently so please use the books to understand each one.
