Vollen, Oslo's most idyllic spot by the sea

Bekkelund Gård is a classic small farm from 1880 in idyllic Vollen. Here you will find peace in a fantastic place with almost 5 acres of garden where the children can play freely. Enjoy the sound of nature when you stay in this unique place. It is only a few minutes walk down to the harbour in the rampart where you have several cozy restaurants and cafés. If you like the forest, it is right behind the house. It is the main house on the farm you rent. We also have a small gazebo in the garden that can be used. There is also a Jacuzzi in the yard. The space This is a charming classic skipper's house from the 1880s with lots of charm, soul and history. The house is upgraded so you live modern in charming surroundings. There is also a gazebo in the garden where you can sleep in addition to 3 bedrooms upstairs and a basement room with a sofa bed solution. We also have a Jacuzzi/hot tub on the property. It is not a large pool, but it has plenty of room for 6 people and can also be used in the winter. Guest access You will have access to the main house on the farm and the largest part of the garden of about 4000 sqm. Operating buildings are locked off. There is a family who rent an annex on the property and they use a "own" part of the Garden. Other things to note We also rent out a smaller annex on the farm. This is currently rented out. It's a separate building, so it's a little shy, but good to be aware of. In the barn, which is a separate building in the yard, my wife runs a ceramic workshop. Here there are sometimes ceramics courses, and some rent space. So you have to expect that there may be someone who will enter the course or work during that period. It won't be a big nuisance and has never been an issue before. We sometimes also have farm workers who live in the barn and work with various tasks in the garden or on the farm. They've never been a nuisance to anyone. There is a gazebo in the garden that can be rented if you wish during the summer season. Here there is a sofa bed with room for two adults and a pull-out bed with room for a child:) this is not insulated and is a summer house. It will not be available from October to April due to cold. In winter we close the boathouse and then there are only 8 beds divided into 4 bedrooms in the house. We can arrange extra mattresses if agreed in advance.
