Enjoy a private room in a cozy 2-bdr apartment next to the University of Chicago campus (across the street from a soccer field and dormitory, five minutes to UC Law School, School of Public Policy, and Booth School of Business.) 10 min walk to groceries; 20 min drive to downtown Chicago. Perfect for medium to long stays, for graduate students, visiting researchers, fellows, interns, etc. ! (Apologies, but I only host women guests.) The space On 61st and Woodlawn, the apartment building is three floors; my apartment is on the second floor. (No elevators.) Pet and smoke free. The apartment is fully and cozily furnished, and guests have full use of all kitchen supplies, spices, towels, linens, TV (including Netflix, Amazon Prime), etc. Laundry w/d is in the basement of the building. No dishwasher. Radiator heat keeps the apt very warm in the winter. A/C unit for summer. The guest room has a full size bed, desk, lamps, and closet space. The kitchen, living room, dining room, bathroom, and back porch are shared spaces; I will be your housemate! Expect a generally peaceful and quiet environment, and opportunities to cook and eat together, socialize, and get a tour of the neighborhood!
