Perfectly placed between Indianapolis & Lafayette, this guest home is perfect for your family, an individual retreat, a couples getaway, or a best friend's reunion. With a full kitchen, full bath, one private bedroom, two *UPPER-LEVEL* loft rooms, a wood-burning fireplace, beautiful sunsets, a fire pit, the property is a perfect complement to the rest you will discover inside. The space Our barndominium has all the basics in a unique, brand-new space for your stay. The main-floor bedroom has a queen bed, a working desk area, and a hanging garment rack. The two identical *UPPER-LEVEL* lofts each have a queen bed, a nightstand, and a small fan. Ladders to the loft spaces can be removed and stored away when not in use. ***Guests who utilize the loft areas should feel comfortable climbing a standard ladder (see pictures with the ladders in use).*** The kitchen is fully stocked with everything you need to enjoy cooking during your stay. A dining table for six and a living room area with a comfortable sectional, perfect for watching a movie or reading a good book. Outside, there is a comfortable sitting area with a fire pit. Wood will be provided if you choose to use the fire pit. Our family lives in a home next to the barndominium. We enjoy hosting and are available should you need anything during your stay. We will respect your privacy, but please be aware that there will be activity on the property, and our normal life will continue around you. A couple of notes about our location and popular destinations: The Airbnb is about 10 minutes off the I-65 exit (7.5 miles). If you're heading to Purdue, we're approximately 40 minutes away. State Road 52 (the best route) is 4 miles away. The Sixpence Wedding Venue (Whitestown) is approximately 30 minutes away. Ruoff Music Center is approximately 45 minutes away. Grand Park is approximately 35 minutes away. The Farmer's Bank Fieldhouse (Lebanon) is approximately 10 minutes away. The Boone County Fairgrounds are approximately 10 minutes away. Dull's Tree Farm is approximately 18 minutes away. ** Please feel free to reach out if you would like a specific distance to your destination. Guest access The guests will have access to the barndominium, the swing set, the property, and the fire pit in front. Other things to note **The Wi-fi is good for rural areas, and you should have no problem streaming movies or anything else you'd like to do during your stay. ** No smoking, please. Outside away from windows and doors is fine, but please dispose of cigarette butts properly. **We allow small dogs (15 pounds or less, please). Please monitor your dog while outside and clean up after it. We are happy to provide bags, etc. **We have well water, which is extremely common in rural areas. We stock filtered water onsite for drinking. Most guests find this a non-issue, but it is worth noting. **A swing set and trampoline are available for children of the appropriate age. ** (Please monitor your children when they are playing outside.) **Please be mindful when booking that the pond is an open pond, with no surrounding structures. ** Swimming is not allowed in the pond. ** We do have neighbors, so we ask that you monitor your noise level at night.
