Big 8 Lodge has a cozy rustic feel. The main living area has an open floor plan with a full kitchen & dining area. A full bathroom with an exit to a small back porch. The front screened in porch has a gas grill and an old church Pue bench for you to sit and relax while you to enjoy outside grilling. Your yard has a private firepit along with a table and chairs to enjoy outdoor dining by the fire. The small path from your yard will lead you to a deck where you can enjoy the sounds of Otter Creek The space This one-bedroom loft cabin is located in our gated property, Fish Camp Village. That sits along the banks of Otter Creek. This property offers a very private remote setting with only one other rental cabin; it is 1 mile from our main property the Trailside Ranch. The village has many small roads for you to venture on peaceful walks. You can enjoy your morning coffee on your screened in porch, at your private firepit or take a short walk to a beautiful screen house that sits on a hill with a picturesque view of Otter Creek. If you follow the walking roads to the end of the property, we have a large screen porch with a vast view of what nature is in the Adirondack Park. This screenhouse is set up for you to grill a meal, enjoy a campfire or just sit and take in the moment. There are canoes and kayaks you can launch and paddle around in Otter Creek. If you travel one mile up the road you can enjoy a swimming hole with a dock and pavilion by the waterfalls. This is a great way to cool off on a hot summer day. Are you are looking for adventure? We offer S x S rentals to our guests; you can rent a two passenger UTV or a 5 passenger UTV. We provide helmets, maps and a detailed overview of the trails where you can travel to many restaurants, scenic areas, waterfalls and see the many trails that Lewis County has to offer for recreational outdoor sports. There are beautiful hiking trails right at your doorstep. If Mountain biking is your thing, we offer on-site rentals of E-Bikes that you can ride for miles right from your cabin through wooded trails and country roads. Guest access Fish camp village is a secluded private property with a gated entrance. The long driveway leads you down to Otter Creek where we have 3 cabins on the property. The property has several long windy roads where you can take peaceful walks, go biking or ride an ATV on. At the end of the property, you will find a large screen house on the point with the most peaceful view of nature. The screen house is equipped with a gas grill, table chairs and a cooler where you can plan to do your own private cook out. There is a firepit for the evening nights and a perfect location for star gazing. There is a modern outhouse that looks like it is from a story book. As you travel one of the other roads you come to a screenhouse on a hill. This has the best view of Otter Creek! You will often see beavers working on their dam and enjoying their home on the creek. It’s the perfect place to enjoy your morning coffee. On Otter creek you will have an access area where you can launch one of our canoes and enjoy paddling in the peaceful waterway. One-mile up Partridgeville road we have our sister property which is a ten-acre Ranch. We have two horses on the property that love to greet visitors at the fence. The Ranch is a 10-acre property with 4 cabins on the property, a swimming hole with a dock and a gazebo where you can sit and enjoy the waterfalls. There are several hiking trails where you can explore the beauty of nature. These trails will lead you to secluded lakes in the most peaceful setting. Other things to note ATV/SIDE BY SIDE RENTALS AVAILABLE ON SITE: Ask your hosts about renting one of their Side by Sides to ride the Lewis County ATV trails system. You can ride to dinner, visit waterfalls and enjoy the outdoors with a close-up view. SNOWMOBILE RENTALS AVAILABLE ON SITE: Contact your host if you are interested in renting a snowmobile to explore the beautiful trails. Along the way, you can stop at many restaurants to get a warm meal as you enjoy the experience.
