It features 10-foot ceilings, original hardwood floors, huge windows that provide abundant natural light, a custom-built Shaker-style kitchen with a cozy dining nook, central air conditioning, WiFi, Smart TV, bluetooth speaker, and newly renovated bathroom with glass-enclosed shower. A luxurious queen-size bed rests against a built-in plaster fresco headboard, which was created by one of the hosts. The TV is discreetly hidden behind built-in cabinet doors. Fresh flowers adorn the night table, and artistic touches are scattered all around the living space. Adjacent to the main sleeping area, a cozy extra room is outfitted with an antique daybed beside another large window. This lovely niche can easily sleep one adult or child. It can also serve as a private office, artist’s studio, or writer’s retreat. Plus, it’s a perfect little place to drink your morning coffee, sip your evening rosé, curl up with a good book or take an afternoon nap. And sometimes you can faintly hear accordion melodies drifting up from the park on the corner, only half a block away. The kitchen is fully equipped with everything you need to prepare delicious breakfasts, lunches and dinners. Every Wednesday and Saturday from early Spring to late Fall, you can buy fresh local ingredients at nearby farmers markets. Specialty food stores are just a short walk away, as are Hudson’s many popular cafes, bars, and eateries. This is an ideal suite for a couple or small family, and you do not need a car. You can walk from the Amtrak train station at the bottom of town to your home-away-from home. And you can go anywhere in town on foot.
